Default Question about Hostess Gifts???

Hello Ladies,

I was just wondering for those of you who are consultant for SU and other companies. If and when someone hosts a party....do you give them something for hosting as a free gift besides what they get from the company? and if so, what do you give?

Thank You!

I am not a demo, but I have had quite a few workshops and my demo usually gives me a packet with a sheet of each of the in colors of cs and (this may sound odd) all the scrap pieces of cs and dp paper on her desk from prepping for my workshop. It is really awesome. The cello bag will be full of the 6 full sheets of cs plus a bunch of smaller and some not much smaller pieces of cs and ribbon, button, etc. Whatever is on her desk. I have gotten all kinds of stuff, she gets a clean desk and says she doesn't miss any of the things . Of course I get to keep all the projects she makes and I get an incentive stamp in addition to a catty and the regular hostess plan.

Everyone in my group of friends really looks forward to the package our demo gives us. It is always different and kinda like Christmas. It is always fun!

I am a hobby demo for TAC and I usually make up a little gift bag, or folder with a small stamp, maybe a small punch and couple of pieces of our designer paper in it for the hostess. I also do a small give away as well for the guests. It's fun, and it keeps the guests entertained. Karen

I am a SU demo and I always give a small handmade gift to the hostess. If it is one of my hostess club ladies then it is a more sustantial handmade gift. I also make handmade door prizes and I have alot of positive feedback. I think it is part of the reason I have the same core group of ladies sign up for my hostess club for the last 4 years.
Sometimes I think I do to much but I think that making things is the fun part of doing workshops and I want my hostesses to be happy and I know I appreciate them.

Hi! I'm a demo with SU and I always give my hostess a special gift from me the evening they hold their stamping party. It changes with each new catalog. With the current Spring Summer issue, they are getting a free stamp set from me as my 'Thank You.' I want my hostesses to know how special they are and how much they are appreciated.

Happy Stamping!
