I placed my PTI February release order at 12:05 and now the crappy waiting part begins. LOL
I cannot wait to get my Matstack set and edger dies.
I LOVE the the new color also!
I did not order the doily items yet but that will be my next order in 2 weeks!
I also ordered a bunch, too much, eek! But I don't do that very often so it will be okay.
I was disappointed they seem to be out of, or can't ship the new coasters. It said to check back for availability. I ordered right after midnight, so I know they weren't sold out yet. Maybe just didn't receive the shipment in time.

I didn't order, but my wish-list just doubled in size. I have to wait until our tax refund comes in before I can place another hobby order anywhere. PTI is first on my list.
I ordered the new mat stack 4 stamp collection and die, Delightful Doilies (they were already out of the punch out dies) and one set of the coasters. I wanted lots more than I ordered but had to exercise some restraint!

I really love the button set too. I just got SU's button set, so I can't duplicate!
I really like how PTI has sentiments that go with their sets...or add on sentiment sets. I loved and ordered the Sew Suite set from SU too, but I wish they had some cute sentiments to go with it.....like sew cute, cute as a button, stuck on you (for the pin cushion) etc. There's not one sentiment with that set.
SU seems to be lacking in that area!

They were sold out, Nichole posted it on her forum. She said they didn't expect people to order 20 or 30 packs of them. We are guessing that people are going to resell them since they are so cheap or that people didn't realize the 25 come to a pack.
I ordered a bunch of things, but I'm most looking forward to the Delightful Doily and Big Birthday Wishes stamp sets. I have plans for them already. They just need to show up *before* my surgery next week so that I have a chance to play!

Wow - 20 or 30 packs huh? I was only trying to order 5. I hope she gets some back in, but I hate to pay shipping for such a small item. I'll probably have to wait for next month's release and "try" to talk myself into ordering something. Right. Like that's a problem.

I so impressed by all the design team's blogs but I passed. I don't make these types of cards myself but I would love to buy them to have, lol. I controlled myself for now. I think that Nichole should have charged more for those coasters. 25 for a $1.00 has to be an error?
I didn't order. The only thing I ended up wanting to order was the Mat Stack 4 Collection but I didn't want to pay shipping for one stamp set so I'll wait until next release or maybe even later.

i want to order the new color and the doilies and the buttons...but I have found if I wait until about 1 week after the release...the stuff I want will probably be in stock, and I'll actually receive it about the same time as if I ordered it on release day.

Maybe they should limit quantities on things like that. It's why I postponed my order.

I agree. Have a Seat is so cute, but no sentiments to go with it? It bugs me. I felt the same way about Sew Suite. I guess we'll have to get creative and make our own sentiments from the computer.

I agree as well......and something like 18 button stamps in that set? How about 1/2 that and add the sentiments. I got PTI Tea for Two (and the additions) for Christmas, I was thrilled at all the sentiments in those sets.

My thoughts exactly! The button cards were cute, but not my style. And the button images themselves aren't much different from what a dozen other companies are offering this year. If I love the look, I can find something better suited to me later. I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on the doily stamps, because I've had something similar on my wish list for months. Like you, I skipped the dies in favor of last month's big birthday number dies and stamps. And they'll be put to use right away to finish my son's first year album.
I just got home and my PTI package is sitting on the table waiting for me. I was able to get the new color collection. Purple is my favorite color and I was so sad that SU discontinued almost all of the purples. I was able to get the Birthday tags from last month that had sold out. The Dollies and the matching dies of course. I did not get the Parisian one...it looked to intricate and I did not want to purchase the puncher outer thing-y. I did get the metal shim..I had seen the MFT site selling one and customers raving about how intricate dies cut much cleaner with it. Coaster were sold out. I did get the edgers as well as the Mat Stack 4 and the Fillable Frames additions. Oh Yeah...I also picked up the color binder and refills. I have all their paper, ribbon, buttons, and felt in all of their colors so I think it was a good investment. I will tell you ladies that this months release "KILLED" me and my budget!!!

Can you use the PTI dies on things other than cardstock, like grunge board or chip board? I have not ordered from them before as shipping to Canada is expensive, but it seems I will have to do an order to make Wedding RSVP and Thank you cards (the kids liked the stamp better than the word doc), I figure since I have to order might as well get me something :-D

The PTI dies work like Spellbinders. I seriously doubt that the could cut chip board unless it was VERY thin. I don't own any grunge board so can't comment on that. You might want to search in tools&products forum to see if there are any topics that discuss this with Spellbinder dies.

They are like Spellbinders (Nestabilities are what I have). I use the Vagabond and can cut through thin chipboard and grunge PAPER with them. I have not tried grunge board.
Even the grunge paper cuts sometimes all the way through but sometimes needs to be pushed through -- sort of perforated enough to get the design out.

I'm in total LOVE with the new Tiny Tags...I think that's the name of it. All those different shapes and images and a die to go with it...I'm in heaven! I have SU's Tiny Tag....like it alot, but it's one tag with a flower image and some sentiments and one punch to go with it. I'll still use it but I'm getting PTI's also!

I loved the DT cards with them too. And having a die to do all that little cutting for me = genius. They're on their way to me right now, along with a bunch of other things.
I got the Postmarks and Tiny Tags... wish I'd ordered Maile's new set...
