Mindy, it was probably a better color match IRL. On my screen it looks like MINT with Olive! That sounds like a bad food! Cute card, but the colors were, um, yes, they were off! LOL!
ROFL I discovered later that it WAS Mint Melody. I had it wrongly labeled as Certainly Celery. I still chuckle at this one.

:mrgreen: Ladies! I don't have an entry but I have to say I find strange comfort in these ugly cards. I have been working on the SAME card all weekend and I STILL hate it. I keep thinking what is WRONG with me? It's like having writers block only with cards. This happens to me once in a while where I literally hate everything I make. Or maybe it's just PMS. ha ha.
Anyway, thanks for the chuckles!
I don't have an ugly card to share. Reason being, when I start to lay my pieces out and I see that an ugly card is coming I just throw the pieces in a box and never put the card together. Imagine what I could do with all those ugly pieces. Maybe I should make an ugly collage. :-D

Too funny. I just saw an ad at the top of a challenge page - advertising something for foil stamping. Are they giving someone in this thread a big hint? I did not check it out, and probably will never see that promo again. Just had to share this.

OMG, this is tooooo funny. I have to say "BLUEBEAR" gets my vote for the ugliest card, sorry BB, but tin foil card was pretty bad. Then STARGIRL, diffenately 2nd. I need to say one thing though. I have been LAUGHING my Butt off, this was a fun thread.
One more thing, So what is the winner gonna win???? I like the idea of sending the winner a card from everyone who wanted to send the winner one!! LMK
This is the thread that refuses to die! I am so glad that so many stampers with such wonderful senses of humor and the occasional total lapse of stamping talent were brave enough to post! It has been so much fun for all of us, and it's a kick when a posting notice shows up in my inbox once a week or so. Then I know that someone else has stumbled upon our silliness!!
Oh Lordy...just when I was having a HORRIBLE day/night. Just when I've been feel depressed and cranky I see this.
God knew I needed a laugh...a good old fashioned belly laugh with tears. You all blessed me with that tonight. Your willingness to put yourself out there, your awesome sense of humor, and your ability to make light of yourself and others in a fun and silly way has totally changed my night!

Actually, this card isn't that bad. There's nothing here that a little SU! card stock couldn't fix! Now the bad thing for me is that I did use SU! cs on my OP card, it's pretty hard to make SU! cs as ugly as I did! Thanks for playing!!
I know this thread was dead, but in the spirit of Easter & spring & new life, I just wanted to revive it so we can all have a good chuckle! I've been thinking of some doozies that I have from years ago that I might need to add to my gallery just for the humor effect!

I take apart my ugly cards and try to salvage something from them. Like, ribbon, some cardstock, etc. I can't give send them to friends, what would they think? So, what do you all do with your UGLY cards???

Obviously we save them and post them on this site!!!!!! And to think I have worse and was TOO embarassed to upload them!

No layers, just used the coluzzle to make the top fold oval.....geeeezzzzzzz.

Omigosh! What a wonderful thread...just saw this for the first time and it has given me a much needed laugh! What really cracks me up is when you go to the gallery you can see that people have favorited some of these cards. Some are really bad...but BB definitely wins the prize. I love that card! It just makes me happy! You won't be seeing my ugly cards as I routinely send them out to my friends and loved ones (if they can't appreicate them...who can?).
NONE of these are ugly! Some of them could use another layer or some other little thing, but honey, you don't even hold a candle to BluBear and I!! Besides, I really like the pink one-I think it's a great card!!
