Default PaperCrafts Magazine....OOPS

This is partly my fault for not paying attention. It's been a rough and busy year and it somehow slipped by me that Papercrafts magazine stopped publishing in February. The problem is that they have continued to take my monthly digital subscription fee for it! So I have paid about $12 to them for absolutely nothing. Oh well, guess there is nothing I can do about it but pay better attention to such things from now on!

Can you dispute it through your credit card or however you paid?

I don't think you'll win a dispute-- the susbcriptions were transferred:

Any remaining issues on your subscription will be fulfilled with a digital issue of Cloth Paper Scissors, a mixed media-focused sister publication of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking. If you already subscribe to Cloth Paper Scissors, the balance of your Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking issues will be added to it. And of course you’ll still have access to all your digital issues of Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking.

I would still go in and cancel the Cloth Paper Scissors subscription so you won't be charged for renewal to this magazine.

I am already a subscriber to Cloth Paper Scissors but not through the Apple Newsstand like the Papercrafts subscription. I was never notified either. Odd. Oh well. I am sad to see the magazine gone, I really enjoyed it!

Can't hurt to call and ask for a reimbursement. I have done that with other subscriptions that changed terms. Weight watchers at work etc., Audio book, etc. - I think this is a common way for companies to make money. They must get enough complaints because they have policies for how many months back they will go. Might not work but it can't hurt to call. It's not right :(

I'm going back just on my brain (which, in full disclosure, could be wrong), but I think they said at the time of the announcement of the closing that you could request a refund. Now I could be wrong, but I seem to think they said something like that.
The announcement happened right before the holidays last year.
The last day the editors worked was in early December. It seems like a million years ago.
