OMG - My hubby published a rubber stamping article about me....
When I went to bed last night I could hear him typing up something with fury.... I got up this morning and he says:
"My article about you is finished"
"Oh yeah - wait - what article?"
"The one about your hobby"
"That was nice of you... what does it, um, say?"
"That I wish I had my dining room table back"
If you'd like to read about his battle with my table space.... here's the article:
How funny is this?!! Your hubby is hilarious! I bet there are alot of husbands out there thinking the exact same thing! I know mine is!!! Of course, my mess is banished to the basement right now. We can never have enough!!!
Alesha- this is too funny. And, I must admit, pretty much accurate down to the full box of stamp pads and reinkers. I am sending this to my husband, who, like most Rubber Stamper Widows, will appreciate it. Let him know that it is good to admit defeat occasionally ;)

That is to funny!! My husband used to feel that way now I have a craft room that allows me to shut the door. He never goes in there so he has no idea if something is new or old or a mess!

That is great! He's even got the names of the tools down pat! I am so giving a copy to dh. He'll love it! I should print it out for him so that whenever he complains about the kitchen, I can just point him in the right direction. Maybe I'll even highlight the comment about surrender!!!
Impressive! Not only is your DH very articulate, but he actually knows the correct vernacular of our extreme hobby! What a guy!
My big, tough DH (or so he describes himself...) always stays a safe distance from all my crafty things and we have a strict "Don't Ask - Don't Tell" policy around here. Personally, I think he's just afraid of that glitter-herpes he heard about somewhere...
;)

Too funny. After reading it, I had to send the link to my hubby at work. The dining room table was one thing, but I about lost it when your hubby wrote about the basement! It really hit close to home!
I must admit I love the article. Maybe you could use this as ammo to get a room of your own that way he could have "his dining room" table back!!!!!!!!

That is actually in the works.... We just moved into this house about 10 weeks ago and we're working on converting the basement into a studio for me. I can't wait (and obviously neither can he).
Too funny! My husband has lost the war but ceded me temporary space in the office. I'm waiting for The Promised Land - a stamp room of my own in the basement.
Judging by everyone's review, your DH must have truly hit the mark with his article. Unfortunately, I've tried the link several times & even typed it in, but I'm having no luck getting the article to load for me.:(

I can't get it to load either. It keeps saying connection timed out....Oh well, I guess I'll try again later.

Too funny! Good article. Did you read the thread where a Hubby used the Drill to wind the ribbon? We're even taking his weapon away and using it to craft!LOL!
