This set (and the DT examples) always struck me as out of the ordinary. I don't know if everyone is familiar with them so I thought I would share. I also think they give a good starting point if you don't want to buy about some other ideas.
Oh my goodness, Hoboken Paper, I have a portfolio of copies of David Roberts' watercolors of the Alhambra that I got in Spain long ago! You really gave me ideas. I've been using Artist Cellar stencils of stained glass windows with Michelle Ward's architecture stencils for Christmas and Easter cards (Artistcellar Stencils: 6 x 6 Stencils and GPP RUBBER STAMPS & STENCILS -scroll down for the whole series). When I read your post I realized I could use some of Michelle Ward's stencils (of which I have a lot) with Ropberts' Moorish Alhambra building fronts for Chanukah collage cards. Thank you so much!!
Zim Gali Gali stamps has some different images. I bought their beautiful Rosh Hashana stamps, but now that everyone in my family received them, I'm out of options. I just finished a "andy warhol-ish" apple card for this year. Really hard coming up with new ways to show the same traditional images.
Not to toot my own horn, but I had a burst of new ideas last year:
For my niece in college, I came up with this last Hanukkah - - Peace, Love, Latkes. I had to use a birds nest die to create the look of a latke.
Love that medallion, but i think they will all remember it if i use it again!
I look to online card sources for inspiration, and see how i can 'lift' the idea with what i have. I will definitely be checking all the links/ideas everyone has posted. We should have a stamp swap! My beautiful Rosh Hashana stamp was definitely a one time use, unless I hold it another 10 years until they forget it
I don't do separate Chanukah cards. I'm Jewish, and my late husband was Catholic, and I have friends of all sorts of religious persuasions (and none!) so I try to do a nondenominational "season's greetings" type card in December. On the other hard, I do send Rosh Hashana (Jewish New Year) cards to my Jewish family and friends, and I am often dismayed to see how few options are available for those cards. I agree that there are plenty of menorahs and dreidls, but few shofars or other High Holy Days images, especially given that this, not Chanukah, is the traditional card-sending season for us. I have a couple of New Year cards in my gallery, and this year's will be uploaded soon.

[I] Kind of off-topic, but I was really excited to see Anna Griffin include some Hanukkah images and sentiments in her annual Christmas cardmaking box this year. I like to get it and mix and match her stuff with my own handmade stuff and when I saw that she included things for Hanukkah, I was over the moon!
Where did you see this? I went to her website and it wasnt there-Xmas in general was not there yet.
What a terrific batch of cards! Lots of ideas! Thanks!
Joniworx-I saw them a long time ago but I like that set! Thanks!!! It's hard to keep up with the all the companies!
I purchased some unmounted stamps from Ruth's Jewish Stamps a couple of years ago, and was extremely disappointed in their quality! They were on blue rubber and very, very thin so they didn't stamp well or cleanly. I haven't used them since. Besides that, I was bombarded by advertising by Dave K. Will not purchase from them again, but some of the other sites that are posted in this forum look really interesting. Thanks for all the input.

here is card i did for my 22 yr old son last year. Was not perfect, but like the idea. I just had to eat some of the chocolate coins & save the foil. I used the thick foam dots behind the foils, but they still wrinkled. I had to use the computer for the saying (found free font called DS Sholom for word 'gelt'). While the saying is kind of snarky, i wrote something more heartfelt inside. Hanukkah Gelt by mshatzma - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers
Prior to these last 2 years, it was menorahs and dreidels every year! BTW, if you do Jewish New Year Cards, just found this beautiful stamp set at Rubber Cafe - love the pomegranate's for Rosh Hashana. Can't wait to emboss them in Ranger Cranberry EP next year... Papertrey came out with some new sets this year that might freshen up your collections? There is a simple sentiment set (Keep it Simple Hanukah) and an image / sentiment set called Festival of Lights.
