Adding to the conversation about "style". I don't send many cards, but my dear friend (20+ years) and I are both stampers/cardmakers and send each other cards. We NEVER try to make cards in the other's style. She makes me layered, fussy cards which are beautiful and that she knows I would never make. I make her fun/funny more clean-lined and bright cards that I know she would never make. It's one of the things that we appreciate about each other. An additional thought: she used to come up with all of her own card ideas but has fallen into the CASEing trap on Pinterest and Facebook in the past few years. The cards are still beautiful, but they are not as unique as when she was using her own ideas, which I miss...
