Hi everyone! I'm new here so I thought I'd say hi. My name is Trisha Magnus, some may or may not know me online from FB groups / as RobotPixie Designs. I live in Canton, Ohio with my husband and our soon-to-be 4 year old. (Pray for us, seriously lol)

I just posted my first card into my member gallery so I hope I did everything right! Anyway, I'd love to meet people on here. I've heard a lot about these forums but never joined until now. You all have quite the awesome reputation behind you! Looking forward to diving into this crazy group with you all.

Welcome, Trisha! My husband grew up in Dover, OH and we live in Pittsburgh now. There seem to be a lot of "hidden" stampers around this area! Splitcoaststampers's reputation is well-deserved. It is the best place for tutorials, to ask questions, for challenges, and of course there are the awesome Virtual Stamp Nights and Dare To Get Dirty weeks. Hi Tricia, and welcome! I've been a member of SCS for years but didn't post much at all for a long time. The pandemic shut down changed all that, and now I'm here every day to check out my favorite threads and to see what everyone is discussing. I love stamping and card making, but hope to finish some of my very old layouts and get them into albums at long last.

Thank you everyone for such a warm welcome! I admit, it's almost overwhelming to try and jump into threads but I'm working through it. I especially love the sketch challenges. It's really helped my crafty mojo!

HI and welcome Trisha .. this forum board is pretty much everyone's go-to for questions, techniques, etc. I used to be an active member of the Cricut boards and after they shut down I was lost for a long time. I now check this one out daily - even though I'm more of a lurker than poster. I have learned more here than on the You Tube videos on crafting. Dina can pretty much answer every question you have, and she can explain crafting in details that you would understand.

I had second -cousins who lived in Canton, Ohio. They owned a drapery shop, Don Stock was the owner. Lost track of them years ago, don't know if they are still around or not.

And waving Hi from So California and adding my warm welcome. As you can already see, you won't find a more supportive and friendly group of people anywhere. I do very little on the Forums, but I love to check out the Gallery and especially the daily challenges. I routinely participate in the Teapot Tuesday and the Featured Stamper challenges and others as time/inspiration permit. Most folks who participate in a challenge also view and comment on other challenge cards. And, you'll find that the same group of people tend to participate in a specific challenge each week (like Teapot Tuesday) so you get to recognizing their name/work and they yours. It has been a great way for me to meet people on this site. Jennifrann warned me about how addictive they can be and she was right. And, yes, it is a huge ENABLING site. LOL. But jump on in anyways....it's a ton of fun.
