My girlfriend wants to make her new grandbabies' birth announcement.
She wants it to be about the babies' big sister announcing the new arrival of her little brother/sister.
Can you help or link me to ideas for a card/saying?

I let me son (with the teacher's okay of course) bring smarties to school and taped It's a Girl to each one. I had a planned c-section so as soon as she was born the secretary of the school came into my son's class and gave him the smarties and announced he had a baby sister!
I know not exactly what you were looking for but my son did have a great time with this! Plus helped him feel involved.
I took a picture of my son holding his baby sister. He looked so proud of her. I wrote inside " our names and big brother Colton are proud to announce the arrival of......" Everyone loved it. I just stamped a cute image of baby foot prints on the front with some patterned cardstock behind it. I will try to post it tomorrow or you can PM me and I will email it to you.
There is a super cute baby set coming out in the spring mini that might be something you would be interested in if you can wait that long. The minis will be mailed to customers in the next few weeks I think, and ordering starts on March 1. It's a line art set with an annoucement stamp to give name, date, time, weight and lenth. It will be the first set I buy, as I don't have any baby sets right now. It also has a bear and a giraffe, and a stamp with stars and moon. Also a cute border.

Cool! The Brillance orchid pad really gives it a little bit of shimmer too. Gluing the little letters under her picture was a pain but with the team effort of my DD and myself it wasn't too bad. She punched all the letters and I glued.
