Can't wait to sign up i will be on the look out for it. Will she have a list of stuff we need to bring also?
Michelle says all we need to bring to the workshop are scissors and "your favorite papercrafting adhesive". She'll provide an email with all the other info when we register.
She might like to go to Anchor Paper haha... lots of great deals at that place. That is where i get all my Neenah Classic Crest from 250 sheets for $22. Not to mention 5 x 5 envelopes per lbs. When i lived up in duluth i use to go to MOA once a year now that i live down here for last 10 years i've been there once. I just have the horrible traffic there. They are putting in a light rail atm right next to my house which is suppose to go directly there but i don't think it will be done till 2010 that will be very nice...
I made the mistake of taking my kids school shopping at MOA the year it opened . . .big mistake! That place is so big . . .I think the last time I was there was about 4yrs ago-we took our grand daughters to Undersea World and the Rainforest Cafe. It was fun.
I just got my confirmation email from Michelle, so I am all registered and ready to go to both a beginner and the advanced workshops! I am so excited! I can't wait to meet her, and the rest of her fans who live in MN! Here's a link to her website and post about the workshops
Thanks, Deb, for organizing this, and again if there is anything I can do to help out, let me know!
Eileen

Who else signed up for the 6th both 1st and 2nd session. I am trying to figure out what there is to do over that way between sessions. I can't wait I am very excited it will be fun...
I did a quick map quest search and there seem to be quite a few restaurants in the immediate area- Applebees, Culvers, Subway, etc. I am signed up for both afternoon sessions, so I will be making the trek 2 days in a row.
I can't wait!

I'm the am on the 5th and pm on the 6th. I do know a little bit about this town since I've lived here for 30 years! If there is anything special you are looking for, maybe I can help you out.
Remember it's the big antique weekend if you like that kind of thing. It's not all antiques-there are clothes, purses, jewelry, shabby chic items-you name it. There must be at least 10 different shops-many are within walking distance from my house.
We do have Applebees, Perkins, 2 great Mexican places (and I'm really picky) many fast foods (Subway, Quiznos, Taco John's, McD's, etc) There are a couple nice deli type places downtown (BJ's Deli and a soup and sandwich place). There is a fancier type place at the golf course but it's just in the middle of changing hands and I don't know exactly when that will happen. We have a couple nice bar/dining establishments (the Mill Creek Inn-home of the Fred Flintstone prime rib on Fri and Sat nights) that are kind of fun. Monticello (10 mi down the road) has quite a few more to choose from including Taco Bell (my personal favorite) and Buffalo Wild Wings.
We have 2 + golf courses if you like that and a couple really nice parks with walking paths, boat rentals, etc.
I have a pretty good sized deck and yard, as long as the weather is nice people are welcome to hang out here, as well. I'm planning on having coffee, pop, water and snacks.
If anyone wants more information on anything, just pm me and I can get you whatever you need to make your trip out here enjoyable. I'm telling you it's a fun place!
I should also add that Michelle sent me an email last night and at that time we had 13 folks signed up already . . .she thinks this is going to sell out pretty fast, so if you are still undecided, I wouldn't wait too long . . .
FYI to MINNESOTA STAMPERS I'm happy that the dates are set for the brayer classes taught by Michelle Zindorf. They are scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 5 & 6th. I wanted to let everyone know that if you're interested go her website to see her work and sign up for classes. Classes are filling up fast, the advanced class on June 6th is already full. I'm very excited that Michelle is coming to visit Minnesota and a big THANK YOU to Deb for setting this up.

I signed up for both classes on Saturday. I'm not sure if there will be a place to have lunch close by or should we brown bag it. Can't wait to meet you.
I too would be thrilled beyond belief to go to one of Michelle's workshops. I live in S mpls, could easily pick her up at the airport. (and swing by ikea or MOA, if she so desires.)
One good place to held it is a place where of course, everyone will have easy acess to it and second it must be known to the public so that the success of your workshop is a sure thing.
Hi Ladies, I just read through this thread and you all have put such a big smile on my face! I cannot wait to meet each and everyone of you.
FYI, I had a cancellation for the advanced class due to illness, so if you were trying to get into it and found it was full, this is your chance.
See you in June!
Hi, I'm coming to the beginner workshop on Friday, I'm so excited. Where do I find out where it'll be held? Should I expect an email or something? Thanks for any info you can give me.
Mary, Michelle was going to resend the info to you today, please let me know if you don't get it or if you have any other questions. We are going to have a great time-see you on Friday!
