MFT's Stamp line "Pure Innocence": the great
"THE GREAT DEBATE" (sorry, my heading got screwed up).
I have been in a quandry over this stamp line for a while now. Let me say straight out, I LOVE THESE STAMPS. That little girl in 'Pure Innocence" is adorable. I love the cute ways that she is posed and the clever props/scenery that accompany her.
With that said, I must confess that I am a VERY practical gal who only buys stamps sets that I know will have a lot of versatililty. I am not sure, if I purchased these stamps, who I would send them to. I don't have any little girls of my own or any others, that I would send these to.
Would you send these to adults? For what occasions? Do you have any samples that you could post?
I would appreciate your feedback, positive or negative.
Thanks so much.

I have a few of these images and haven't used them yet, however, while I don't think I would use the one's I have for masculine cards, I definitely would use them for cards to adult women. They're great images, especially if you like to colour.

I am hooked and just ordered a bunch. I am dying to color them all w my copics. I know what you mean about them having a juvenile feel to them, but like all cards, customize to the recipient. Give in, you know you want to.......:-)

Almost every single thing I make ends up in the "now what do I do with this?" pile... However, I love Pure Innocence stamps, too, and they can be more versatile than you think. I made the attached three cards with the same set, for example. They are in my gallery and on my blog, too, if you want more details. (The blog link goes to the post showing how I made the cards, and the gallery link is just the general link - not to any card in particular - I think the date is in May for these)

I love PI stamps and never hesitate using them for cards that I send to adults. These images are great to do paper piecing with - if you like that style of card. You might want to subscribe to the MFT blog and Newsletter. Kim has a wonderful design team and boy do those girls know how to make some beautiful cards! Kim always has tons of sample cards posted on her blog.
FYI - There are also some little boy PI stamps so, go ahead an make the jump - you'll see...how versatile they are and you won't regret it.

I only have a couple of her animal stamps (digi-format) but I think the girls are really cute too. I love all kind of cute stamps and I send them to adults. It is the kind of cards I enjoy making and everyone gets "cute" cards from me.

Thanks, ladies, for your words of inspiration. I, sometimes, get 'stuck' on practicality issues.
Sue, your cards are beautiful. Thanks for posting.
I am weakening and will probably order 1 or 2 soon, and try them out. They are irresitible.

If you wanted to try a digital one first to see if you like it, you can purchase them at the artist's website, and some of them are marked down to less than a dollar and they are super cute...

I didn't know about that (being a digital stamp).
Thanks! Dina!

I love Heather's images. They're perfect for my two favorite techniques - Copics and Paper Piecing.
Lavenders and Lilacs
Hey Chickie Lady
I definitely would and have given them to adults. Their design is so simple that, to me, it's meaning is more pure and sentimental.
But, in the end, because I stamp primarily to just keep my self sane, I always play with images I enjoy and don't always have a final destination for them.

I love the Pure Innocence range of stamps. I have given them to adults, I think they are something everyone can appreciate.
You asked about seeing people's ideas ... I typed in Pure Innocence in the search part of the gallery and came up with about 1875 cards to look through that should keep you inspired for a while

I think they are perfect for adults, I know I would love to receive some of these darling cards with these adorable little girls on them!! I am very girly and love anything that is frilly and cute so I think it depends on the adult you'd be giving them to, but I wouldn't rule out adults just because they are cute!!

I have a niece and a nephew and they are both getting older so I don't have an excuse to buy cute kid images to make them cards anymore. But I still like cute kid images and I enjoy making kids cards so I still do. Then I donate them to Operation Write Home so a soldier can send them to his/her little boy or girl.
