My daughter who's eight worked very hard on some cards last week. The first was a "practice" and the second a card for teacher. It would make her day if someone could leave a comment! Thanks!

How marvelous that your daughter is interested in stamping too. She's done a marvelous job with her cards. What a fun thing for you to be able to do together. TFS
W o w ---- we have a star in our midst that's for sure and only 8!! Both sweet cards and great colours and colouring in too. Huge congratulations to your 8 yr. old cardmaking artist
Thank you so much to everyone who left a comment. She's floating on air today! I love when she stamps with me so hopefully this will give her lots of encouragement to continue. You are all WONDERFUL! (shouting from rooftop)!

I'm always sooo very happy to encourage young stampers Your daughter is doing a FABulous job...and to think she is only 8....just think of all the purchases you can "justify" because you both "need" the supplies...lol...
Don't you just love stamping with your DD? I love to stamp with mine (she's 27). You have lots of years of fun stamping together. She is going to keep you on your toes, she's very talented!
Those M/D activities are wonderful and so memorable. I miss them with mine being in TX vs IL and age 30. I did get my GD's started last Christmas, but once a year ????
Tell your DD she did a FANTASTIC job and I look forward to see her other creations.

I am amazed at the talent your daughter has at such a young age. I bet it is a joy to stamp togther. I am envious since I only have boys. The other day my 20 year old son wanted some name tags for Christmas gifts for his girlfriend. Of course, I make them all so we sat for about 1/2 hour to make some. It was fun but I don't think he enjoyed it as much as I did.
...I can't help but wonder at the wow factor of the internet and sites like SCS where we can share in an instant from the other side of the world and get such instant feedback. Glad our responses made your daughter so happy too; she did such amazing cards.

Make My Daughter's Day
I'm late coming to your daughter's cards, so will just be repeating what everyone else has said. I wondered if Tilda was already colored but then read that Copics were used! Wow, she did a fantastic job! I actually liked her first card better than the second. One reason was because the rectangle behind Tilda had the effect of a 'blackboard' and I liked that for a teacher. The overall layout and materials used were just great. You and she have my congratulations!
