don't order Simply sentiments, there is no magazine anymore. we didn't even get all of our magazines from last years subscriptions.....
WOW! What happened? I just emailed them a few days ago inquiring about a subscription because I use to subscribe, and I haven't heard anything yet. I REALLY did like this magazine. Great ideas, and no advertising.
I just recently renewed my subscription to Creating Keepsakes. I tend to get inspiration from magazines that arent really stamping related. I think CK is great for color, embellishment, and font inspiration.
I have a subscription to Paper Crafts, but I will let it expire. I dont find a lot of inspiration in it. Too many advertisements and too many cards that I wouldnt want to make myself.
I LOVE Cards magazine and will probably sign up at the beginning of the year.
I'll have to look into Crafts n things, sounds like fun!
Better late than never. I have a subscription to Card Maker & *had* one to Rubber Stamper. Got my first issue last week of Crafts N' Things & I'm with nadine529 - I *HATE* it. I don't like the layout, they don't tell you (on the page) which companies are being used & you have to search in the back for the different companies used. YUCK! I've emailed Subscriber customer service to cancel my subscription (I had a year left) & will be subscribing to Paper Crafts.

Reason: inserted magazine title I was talking about!
I was subscribing to Card Maker and it was a hit and miss. Some issues were great and some had nothing I liked. I let the subscription expire after I started looking through this site. I think the SCS offers tons of ideas and inspirations. I can do without the magazines.
Papercrafts is my favorite, they have a wide variety of cards ranging to elegant and sophisticated to cute, to simple. Their website is awesome, too, which plenty more projects. I also like Stampers Sampler, sometimes. I usually just browse through them though, and if I like it I buy it. I don't subscribe.
Paper Crafts that is my favorite by far...I keep every issue. Cards magazine is wonderful...I haven't subscribed yet, but I hope to soon. I also like Scrapbooks ETC...I have gotten the best ideas for cards from looking at layouts, but I make collaged/paper pieced cards and never solely stamped cards.
I have a question about Papercrafts.... I just tried out my first issue and obviously because of the time of year, it was predominately Christmas themes items. Do the issues the rest of the year focus mainly on holidays for that month, or is there a good variety of different types of projects?

I think they do focus on the holidays and this is why I let my subscription lapse a few years ago. Being British, I have no use for Halloween or Thanksgiving ideas and only send one Valentine card each year! Having said that, I HAVE just subscribed again - I've been getting Creating Keepsakes for a few years and decided it was time for a change. My first issue hasn't arrived yet so I hope I haven't made a big mistake. :?

They definitely will feature cards for upcoming holidays but they also do other themes and occasions in each issue.
Take the Nov 2007 issue...it had on the cover 93 holiday projects PLUS 64 projects for every occasion. I find that the ideas inspire me for all sorts of things, not just for the event they were originally created for.
