Looking for a Paper Potpourri Ball

I've searched the galleries by a host of differnet words, but have only come up with one sample of what I'm looking for.

I want to make a hanging potpourri ball, but instead of dried flowers, I want to use paper. Do you know the kind I mean? A ball covered in flowers with a loop of ribbon on top to hang it by.

I can think up some ideas on my own using my flower punches, but I'd really rather have some one else's experience to guide my way before I find myself over my head.

Any links to samples?? Anyone done this before?
