Default Looking For Ideas

Ok, we are re-doing our living room and I saw this ideas where they had pictures of their children on the wall and below each picture was a clock with the time of the child's birth. Above the frames it said "The Best of Times".

Unfortunately, our wall did not accommodate this lay-out. So I got frames that are about 12X12 and have a matt, leaving a 4x4 space for the photos. I am looking for ideas of what kind of saying I could put above the frames. Any thoughts.....

Thanks -

Cathy

I love that idea! Not exactly what your looking for but what if you kept the saying and altered the picture frames. You could put the time of birth on the picture mat.

I immediately also thought of what Michelle said - is there enough room to stamp clock faces with the time of birth on the mats? You'd need the right stamp so you could do a different time for each child (I know Hero Arts sells a set with separate clock hands and other companies must also). You could stamp once on each mat below the picture or do multiples around the mat, maybe with other stamps. If you used same color or colors for the stamps on all the pictures, it would be cohesive.

Of course, if you only have a narrow mat it won't work, but a 12 X 12 frame for a 4 X 4 photo sounds like there would be room.

Thanks for the suggestions. I saw the original idea on Pintrest. The real problem is the clocks, they just fall too close to the back of the sofa. So I have decided to remove the clocks and after looking at some quote books, I am going with the saying :

You outgrew our laps
But never our hearts

I will post a photo in my gallery once it is done.

Thanks again!
