Hi there, I don't know how old you are, but the senior center that is 2 doors down from my work place has a large room to hold classes, and most of them are free. some are done by the local community college, but there is a free scrapbook class I went to for a while, the teacher wasn't a lot of help, but I was able to see what a lot of others were doing. Maybe you could start a group? one time a month sounds good. I have a group I meet with once a month, we take turns doing something we want, from a new technique to and old favorite. Just make up a kit for the members, and bring all the supplies when it is your turn. Just a thought.

Hello. My name is Tracey and I stamp alone. Some days I like it. Some days I'm kinda sad cuz I miss my little stamping buddy (my 9yo niece) who now lives 4 hours away. I have yet to meet other papercrafters in my area. I don't even know if they exist. I'm a single girl who lives alone, whose friends are more interested in having a personal "Hallmark store" than a stamping buddy....

Tracey!!!!! *waving* Move to Gilbert Arizona! hee hee hee. I stamp alone....like EVERY DAY. My "problem" is I LOVE to be home...and I like to create where all my stuff is. Nuttin' drives me more bonkers than when I'm making something and I KNOW I have the perfect what-not for it...but I don't have it with me! Plus...my husband get cranky when I burn up a tank of gas in a week...so THAT motivates me to stay home too! LOL!

Me too, Lone crafter :( the hard part is many of my freinds think crafting is boring or just not for them. In the most recent year I have been busy with nursing school and I dont have much time, so It's spent at home with my family. Plus, I can't craft if i'm out with my friends.. I thought about putting out a craigslist ad but was afraid I'd meet some creepy people. so for now it's just me and Pandy (pandora)
