:( I have this whole week off and had planned on working with all of my new stamps that I pre ordered...Well, my order came and guess what....
"IT'S NOT MY ORDER"
some where out there, someone else has my order and I have theirs.....Well there goes my whole plan to have everything made and ready for my open house.....Why me Lord"
I phoned SU and they said that they were sorry and that I should just send this order back and they will re ship....it should arrive an the very day that I head back to work.....NO NO NO I just want to bang my head against a brick wall :rolleyes: what a waste of a week off.......
Ohhh Man, that totally sucks!!!!!!! Too bad your orders weren't the same and then you could have just called it even. Well now you have time to.........ummmmm.........well.............look at the gallery?????
Bummer!! I feel your pain! I received my su order on friday, & was so excited ~ only to open the package and everything in it with the exception of a punch I ordered was ruined, talk about disappointment. It seems that UPS tested it's use as a hockey puck. SU customer service was very apologetic & sympathetic and is sending out new merchandise, which I am grateful for ~ but I wanted to use them 5 days ago, not wait another 5 days to get them again!! (insert pouting lip here). In the mean time I found plenty of other stuff to do (like clean & organize the craft table so when they arrive I'll really be ready!!). I hope your order shows up soon!!

Since it was basically their fault, can't you call and argue with them to expedite your correct shipment?? I would keep going up the chain (supervisor, manager, etc) until you got someone who will help you. Hope you can get results!

Is there anything in the order you received that you originally ordered? If so, why not use it and then send back the other 'unused' one as if it were yours?

This is what I think too! My SU! Demo got her order Friday and we had our card party Friday night. She didn't use any of the new stuff but she was SO excited and pulled it out to show us. It was fun. Like Christmas!
I can't believe they didn't offer to ship it overnight. That really stinks. I can just imagine how disappointed you were. I think you should escalate this and see if they will consider reshipping.

Ummmm....no...what really sucks is when you know a person who is having the battle of her life with cancer. There is no wasted week with her. Every week is a gift. I know you are disappointed, but your stamps will find their way to you. I hope you don't think I am getting down on you. I just wanted to put some perspective on this.
Sorry. I felt I should not have posted what I did and I apologize. I feel bad. I didn't mean to sound high and mighty. I had a bad day hearing what was happening with her and then I came home and opened this thread. I think it just hit a nerve. Again, I'm really sorry. You are not a trivial person, I am sure, and I what I posted was unjust and not called for. I hope all works out for you and your week of non-stamping! Maybe it calls for a week of shopping at your LSSs to ease the stamping pain?? ;)

Thanks for letting us know what happened. I am sorry for the delay in getting your order especially when you had planned ahead for your time off.
I, on the other hand, have not always planned ahead and have been guilty of expecting the box to be sitting on my front porch in just a few days. This tells me that mistakes do happen and I shouldn't always expect things to be right every time.
Again, thanks for sharing with us and I hope that the order gets resolved quickly for you.
Thanks everyone....I know that I sound like a spoiled brat but I was soooo looking forward to that parcel....Hey Denise...no need to say your sorry...I know where you are coming from...I lost a great friend a year ago and I know the pain...I know for sure that there is a lot more to life then stamping but just for here ,and just for now ,it was a real bummer....Still it is nice to hear from a fellow Canadian.... THANKS again to everyone "You made me feel better" HUGS....Sharon
