Joining SU in May?

For a variety of reasons, I want to join SU as a "hobby demo". I want to join as close to the new catty release as possible, so I can take advantage of the 30% off on my first order ... On the newly released items.

My question is, if I join in May, would I be sent copies of the 2011-2012 catties or the new 2012-2013 ones?

I'm guessing it would be copies of the current catalog, 2011-2012.

I'd have the demo that you are going to sign up under call SU and find out for you. I'm not sure how they handle it around the transition, especially this year with the change!

There's usually a cut-off date the month before the new catty goes live, often around mid-month. Agreements sent in past the cut-off will be held at SU until the catty goes live to ensure new demos get the new catalogs. As Mindy was saying, this year with all the changes, including a new, earlier release date, you'd better call SU or have your potential upline call them to find out the right date for sure.

I will get my demo and her upline to look into it. I am very excited about becoming a demo, even if it's "just for my hobby". ;)

May is a great month for me to join, personally, as it's my bday month (and I understand that you can get an extra discount on a item in your bday month?), we will be moved into our new home, and hopefully (fingers crossed), I will get copies of the new catty. I'm hoping there is also a great special for joining!

Sometimes there is a little glitch with the birthday discount. Make sure SU has your birthday on file and you still may not get it but all you have to do is call if you have trouble. Now, the discount is on the FIRST item on your first order of your birthday month. Just wanted you to be aware! Don't waste it on something like a pack of dimensionals or something:-)

You'll have so much fun....and go broke, lol! I do think you will get new catalogs but not 100% sure on that. No sense of giving you old ones. Thinking back I want to say that demos last year around catty change time might have gotten both????
