So we recently moved to an even more tropical location ( HA!) and I wanted something cute for Christmas cards..something tropical ..if possible. I would prefer an actual stamp to a digi but will take whatever I can find. Anyone have a company they can recommend?
There an old SU set with a snowman surfing and a tree decorated with shells and a couple of other stamps. Maybe someone here can come up with the name quite cute.

My husband and I travel frequently to the Hawaiian islands. Maui has a wonderful stamping/scrapbooking store called Island Paperie. They have unique stamps, made just for them! Here is a link to a Christmas set:
You'll also find many other tropical stamp sets (think Hawaiian shirts, sea life, luau, tropical flowers, petroglyphs, etc.). Unfortunately, they are moving and taking a vacation after something like 14 years without a break, so the last day to order was September 23. I believe they aren't reopening until January -- both internet sales and sales in their new store location.

We have been to Maui 3 times now and each time I have visited that store and loved it. This last year, we went to Kauai instead, so I didn't know they were moving. We will be in Maui next Feb. Do you know their new location?
They didn't give a specific address. They said that Dairy Rd is going to be reconstructed and it will now have a "bypass" so their new store will be in a more visible area. It sounds as though it's going to be behind the current store (to the north). You could probably shoot the owner an e-mail even though the store is closed.
