Default iOS 8

Is anyone else having trouble uploading pictures to your gallery since the update to iOS 8? It seems like I've had nothing but problems. Can't upload any card pics on split coast.

This always happens when Apple upgrade their iOS. All I can say is try doing a search on google or safari and see what others are saying.
I have seen that others are having problems bring pictures into programs that they had previously used with ease. You will probably have to wait for the next fix to come out. Too busy pushing out the latest and greatest and bot ironing out the glitches first.

iPhone 5 & 4 are having a lot of problems with pictures. I heard 4 was having more issues than 5 though. I have the iPad mini but not experiencing uploading or downloading problems. I am not using the gallery here. I am uploading/downloading at other sites. I am having other problems like Apple ate my books. I am not amused with them right now. My mini keeps shutting off. I got that darn bug. At the tech news sites I read ioS8 is one of the buggiest OS's Apple ever released. I read that Apple is working on fixes right now. Some should be done in the next couple of weeks. I hope that helps.

I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to updates. I never update till I see what problems surface. Hope it's not too long

BathBelle- You are the smart one. I should have been the dinosaur too. I knew this update was going to be buggy. I was testing things so I updated. I wish I waited too. I haven't seen much of a difference with this update. It might be different on the phones thought but the mini I wasn't too impressed with the update.

Now, this weekend I get to do a Windows Mobile 8.1 developer preview and a new OS on one of my computers. I told my DH one more weekend of tech stuff and then I am hiding in my art studio for the month of October.

Anyone who is thinking of updating to the new iOS8 definitely wait a couple of weeks. Keep checking your online news feeds because Forbes & NYT is pretty good at reporting when Apple releases a new update fix.

Default I wish I had waited

Thanks everyone. I was way to quick to update this time too. My iPad keeps crashing or freezing which has never done before. I saw that they released an update and then pulled it back right away. I will keep an eye on NYT and Forbes if they are the most up to date. I'm still a devoted Apple user but this is really poor on their part.

I got my ipad in August 2013 just before IOS 7 came out and I have stayed with 6. I prefer the less cartoonish look of it. Still using Windows 7 and Office 2007 and my cross stitch software is from 2002!

I haven't updated yet. Mainly because I like to wait and see what the issues are before I do. I probably will here in a week or two.

I made a mistake of jumping on the Maverick OSX before I read everything. It's not as bad as it was, but it was like I had a virus or something for a long time. I try to read up on the update first and give it a couple of weeks before I jump into it.

Default Ios8.0.2

Don't think I'll touch that update for a while. Lol.

I have just learned a little patience and go back and read reviews before I jump on it anymore. I wouldn't have never done that with regular stuff.... but since owning an MacBook, Itouch, and now an iPhone, I am cautious before updating.

I usually wait until my son in law does it then see what issues he has. Fortunately we use our computers differently so if it works for a gamer, then it'll work for me.

This is really great computer advice. Gamer's will not update their computer until absolutely safe because we do not want our games messed up. Hardware compatibility issues are a nightmare with updates gone wrong. You update wrong you lose whole levels and possible your whole game. My computer is not touched when I am working on a game.

I usually don't update either. I am testing apps for Apple iOs8 so I was kind of forced too. I am saying no next time.

I did find out you can revert back to 7 if you want too. It is a bit complicated but there are instructions to do so. I am not reverting back. I do not like rolling back firmware.

iOs 8.2 should be out by mid-week. It could be out earlier.

Cartermrc- I am still using software from Windows 95 on my computer. Got to love our classic vintage programs.
