I had taken a long break from card making and, consequently, SCS. With the pandemic giving me lots of time to craft, I rediscovered how much I love this hobby. That brought me back home to SCS.
I'm so happy to see so many familiar names and look forward to "meeting" new people.
You sound like me! On Monday I posted my first card in over nine years! I too drifted away from stamping due to a full time job, an inaccessible (a mess) crafting space, and a new interest in quilting. I’m retired now and last fall I bought a long arm quilting machine so was forced to clean out my crafting space to make room for it. So now my quilting machine and my stamps happily live together in my room. I made a commitment for 2020 to make and send a birthday card for everyone in my family. I used to do this years ago. It’s about 130 cards or so. I came back to SCS looking for inspiration.
