Default ikea knife holder for nesties

i just love this ! i can see them, they dont fall off.....but, looking at the # of them, i fear i went a bit crazy in the nestie department.

i also used a picture frame with self adhesive magnet sheets on the glass to store little ones and some that wouldn't fit on another knife rack. ok, i couldnt bring myself to use 5 knife racks !

i am fortunate to have my craft room the size of our 2 car garage ( our bonus room).

the ceiling angles make it seem a bit smaller, but it is a great space.

i find if i dont SEE things i tend to not USE things. just did it yesterday so we'll see how it works. that magnet is sure strong ! have to use some oomph to get them off !

I love that idea! Once my DD is big enough to move into my craft room I'll be able to move my stuff downstairs (Thank GOD) into her nursery and I'll have vertical walls to do that too! Thanks so much for the idea!!!

what a great idea. I just got the spellbinders book to store them in. I'm afraid it's going to end up on the "things I regret buying" list

Holey maracoli! I have 2 kinfe magnets sitting in a drawer! We switched to a butcher block for our current house, but kept them "just in case" I think I know of a "case"! lol

... that and not wanting DH to see EXACTLY how much I have is why I don't want mine on the walls.

... this is a great idea. May adapt it for my QK cookie cutters.

For my nesties I use the magnetic sheets on 12x12 cardboard and slipped them into page protectors. Easily to see and easy to get to. Few more pages and I may have to actually put them in asn album.

This is a great idea....I did it myself too.....although, BEWARE....

the magnet is so strong on these they will bend your nesties after a little while. It hasn't effected how they work but they do not lay flat anymore....
