Default I took the plunge, will I regret it?

After making 10 of the Ghiradhelli boxes and scoring everything with my Fiskars cutter and a stylus, and getting very frustrated, I just ordered a Scor-Pal from Gina K. Got free shipping which is awesome.

So now the question becomes one of, Will I regret it?

Oh no, you will not regret it! I use my Scor-Pal every time I make a card. It's great! Plus, you can do some pretty score lines on your cards.

Enjoy your new toy!

I bought my Scor-Pal at Christmas time and I am very glad that I did. At the end of January I had to make 60 boxes for a Church event and it only took me an hour to score them all with the Score-Pal, I hate to think how long it would have taken me doing it the old way and how many uneven score lines I would have had. I use it for all my cards now. The one thing that you have to remember is that you fold with the mountain on the inside instead of the outside, it took me a little bit to adjust to folding it that way but after I had my cardstock crack on the fold line I realized that I needed to fold it the way they suggest instead of the way I was use to doing it.

I thought the same thing after I ordered mine. Until I got it! I use mine all the time. More than I ever thought I would. I love it. My husband has even used it too. I could never get score lines even before and now I can.

Never! Not in a million years! You will absolutely love the ease of use and having even score lines every time! I love mine and wish I would have bought it sooner!

You won't regret it! And as Joan said, get the mat - it's FABULOUS! I use it as my workspace and just pull off the mat when I need to scor. And just wait till you see the new tool they showed at CHA - Incredible!

Nope not at all! I thought about it for a long time and kept talking myself out of it but finally gave in and had DH give it to me for Chanukah and I love it. I am using it on so many things that I never would have attempted before. I leave it with the mat on my desk. I thought it would be bulky and a pain to move around my small work area but was I wrong! Its lite and never leaves my desk. Great choice for a tool. Andrea

No way!! I love mine and use it all the time! Since our move, I was able to take over a whole room to myself and now have the desk space to leave my Scor-Pal out all the time. I use it for every card and more!!

I love mine too ... use it ALL the time ... I also love the mat ... I hmmmm'ed and hawwww'ed about the mat for a long time and then finally broke down and bought it ... I LOVE it ... I used to stamp on an old catalogue for some "cushion", but now I use the mat and it is perfect. I never put the Scor-Pal away, except when I'm all done for the day ... you will NOT be sorry!

Well now I am even more excited for it to get here. I didn't order the mat, thought I would start with just the Scor pal and go from there. What's the tool they showed at CHA?

Check the [Scor-Pal] post on the SCS @ CHA blog and watch the youtube video. They have a cool little perforating tool for faux stitching - it's at 2:40 on the timeline.

It's my favorite tool ever. (I mean besides boring trimmer and adhesive). I cannot imagine making cards or much of anything without it anymore.

go on their website there are a TON of tutorials for it. I mean TONS of them.

Ditto what they all said. I made 35 of the gable boxes the other night and scoring was a breeze w/ the ScorPal.

It's been one of the best tools I've ever owned--I use it daily in my paper crafting.

So, IMHO, no--you won't regret it one bit!

I love my scorepal, too. I use it for every card I make to at least score the card base. It was a great investment and has definitely paid for itself.

If you have one of the glass mats that goes with SU's "new" circle cutter, it fits the Scor Pal perfectly too (a bit short on the length side, but perfect in width).

I've had my glass mat for years and just discovered this when trying to find more space on my cluttered work area.

No regrets. It's a great tool to have. I recently finished fourteen boxes for Valentine goodies. The Score-Pal was invaluable.

In a word, NO you will not regret it one bit! The Scor-Pal, along with a good paper trimmer, top the list of tools that make my paper crafting life easier.

Just watched the CHA video. Now I wish I had ordered the mat. I really didn't understand what it was for. Oh well I'll order it when that new 'toy' comes in. That looks too cool, I love the stitching look but HATE having to punch all those little holes and get them all straight.

Wow, everyone loves their Scorepals! Why? What am I missing? I've always scored with my cutter and bone folder and always get straight lines? NOw if I didn't have the fiskars trimmer I wouldn't be able to as my other cutters don't have the score line. Sell me on the Scorecpal.
