Default I need your help ladies

Now that Bashful Blue is retired what are your go to colors for a baby boy card. I wanted to do it in 2 colors of blue, one being Marina Mist. I can't believe I don't have any bashful Blue CS left:(

I still have some bashful blue but when that's gone I will have to use soft sky.

Maybe one of the new in colors will work. I'm curious as to what they will be. None of the current light blues go with any of the other blues.

You have expressed what I think too. There is a need for that soft baby .blue... the others are lovely in their own way but all too greenish for that purpose

Soft sky next to white and with brown accents looks more blue though the colors didn't stay true in my photo. Pool party has way more green highlights. Marina Mist is good too. Here's a recent baby card using soft sky.
Hard to Choose
Here's one with Baja Breeze, but maybe you'd like it in Marina Mist
Rock Star
Perhaps the key is using lots of white with just a little of the blue if you're not as fond of the blue.

If you still have a Bashful Blue ink pad, color your white cardstock with a brayer or refill ink make a mist and spritz it.

I would recommend sticking with Marina Mist (favorite blue!) and stamping off once on scratch paper to get a lighter shade.

That's a great idea for inks but she was looking for card stock matches. I keep forgetting about the stamping off for lighter shades!

Yep - when I don't have cardstock that matches I color cardstock to get me close to the color I need. :p

I'm sad that Bashful Blue is gone...it was one of my go-to colors.

I guess I don't understand why everything has to match. Wouldn't different colors give the card more visual interest?

Sometimes same tones are wonderful and other times I like color opposites. But if you want to match up same tones, we just don't have a great blue to go with Marina Mist since Bashful Blue is gone.

I use my markers to color about 1/2" around the edge of white cardstock to make the color I need. Alcohol markers are smoother, but pretty much any/all of them will do the job... I really miss Bashful Blue, too - they should bring it back!
