Exclamation I need help!!

my friend would like to make a memory book of sorts for her daughter. her daughter is turning 1 in a week, and she would like to have a book where people can write memories of her 1st year of life down, and then she would like to be able to add to it every year.

i love this idea, however i am at a loss as how to make this, i do not have a bind it all or any book making tools similar to that. any ideas would so be appreciated.

thanks so much
tara

you can use loose binder rings or take it to the copy store to be bound.

If she wants to add to it every year, I think the easiest would be those albums where it has those three metal rings, and you can snap and unsnap them (sorry, I don't know what they're called).

I would think that even if you DID have a bind-it-all and made a book with it, it might be a hassle to add to the book every year, 'cause you'd have to UN-bind it...er, right?

Once you use good firm chipboard for covers, 3 or 4 book rings will hold it together and be very easy to open to add a new page. In case you're not sure what I mean - THIS is the type of book ring.
Cover and decorate your chipboard covers, and with something like the Crop-a-dile punch 3 or 4 holes down the spine edge. Some people get an amazing look by tying little ribbon knots round the book rings.
