Thanks everyone, we are at her house right now, actually I am writing this under her name, too lazy to sign her out and myself in  Fortunately she did not get on the computer this morning, so she hadn't seen this thread. She asked if she could read the comments, and I told her she had to wait until she opened her present.
A.C. Moore had tons of accessories like tags, eyelets, buttons, those little clear bubble stickers, snaps and tons of other stuff on clearance for .99 or less, so I hit the jackpot with that, plus all of the ribbon spools too.
So I am pretty happy with her gift. The only damper is that I didn't buy the last 2 ribbon organizers at Target when I had the chance. I had them in my hand and put them down right before I went through the register. Stupid, they were only 4.18 each too. I needed a spanking that day
I 'll let you all know how she liked it when I get home later tonight.
I was just part of a 6x6 ABC techique swap here at SCS, put on by Rhonda. It was fabulous and I just put it together in a 6x6 album. My sister and her 2 daughters just came to visit and they could not put it down!! They got so many ideas from looking at the pages. Your mother will LOVE it!! An awesome gift.
Kirstin,
What can I say that hasn't already been said? I'd say it was a pretty big
project to take on, but our Mom's are worth the time & effort, right? It
looks like it turned out just amazing! I'm sure your Mom will be blown
away with your wonderful gift. And as you can see by everyone's comments you've inspired us all to put all the neat stuff we've learned
all together into an reference tool that can also be beautiful! Thanks for
sharing your creations with us!
What a wonderful idea!!! I'm not sure if someone mentioned it in a previous reply but this would make an awesome book for a new recruit. If I ever get a recruit, I am definitely making one. I think your mom will LOVE it!!!
I'm casing your idea for my mother, it's THAT good! My momm just got in to making cards and wants to just learn everything! What an awesome idea! Geez....i'm even casing gifts now....
What a wonderful thing to do for your Mom, and yourself, as I'm sure you got just as much pleasure out of making it as she will get out of using it! She will love it (and while you're in the mood, you can do one for me too! LOL)

Kirstin,
I posted earlier but I'll say again your gift to your Mom is AWESOME!
Two questions: Will you adopt me & make one for me?
Are you taking orders?
Love your idea! Thanks again for sharing it with all of us. Can't wait to
hear how much your Mom loved it!
Thanks everyone for your kind words. I did give it to my mom and she very much liked it. Now I need to make one for myself.
I MAY consider making and selling a few of these, but would there be any sort of copyright laws involved in this in any way? I wouldn't want to do anything illegal. And what would you think would be a fair price to charge?
Just checking things out.

This was such an awesome idea. I'm going to suggest to my upline that we make these at our meetings. We are always making a couple of cards each month, so why not do a few pages for our books each month.
Kirsten,
Not only is it a fabulous gift, but the time and effort you put into it shows how much you really care. What a luck mom. She must be really special.

This is grammasandycandy here to say Yes this a wonderful gift. I am very much going to enjoy using it. I have several daughters involved in stamping. It all began about six or seven years ago with a daughter in Montana when I purchased about $300.00 of stamping stuff to bring home and get the church women involved in some creative projects. Well it spread to my girls, and know their encouraging me to become more involved. It is so much fun to work with them. They're a great bunch. Thanks a bunch. I LOVE YOU MUCH. THANKS KIRSTIN I'm also very much enjoying the weekly sketch challenge. Thanks so much everyone. Sandy Isum
