I can't decide and need your non-professional opinions...

I have been going back and forth for a while on a new stamp for the backs of my cards. I want my blog address on there...and have been selling a card a month or so...LOL...so I would like it to look like it could *go someplace* if I wanted to.

Our family is big on the outdoors, and our home is all moose-y cabin-y stuff...so I want to have the stamp ME-ish. Anyway, I am up in the air between these two stamps. On both the NAME line would read *Paper Canoes* and the address line would read *Handmade by Cher Bapp* and the city/state line would read my blog addy.

I attatched the two I can't decide on...I personally love the bear one and think it would stamp nice and clean with any color that matches my project. BUT...my blog name is Paper Canoes...LOL...so the Canoe one just seems to be yelling at me.

HELP? Which would you pick? If you say niether...well then it's just not your style...LOL

I vote canoe.
If I were looking at the bear stamp and saw 'Paper Canoes' underneath, I would feel confused.
Whereas the canoe stamp makes it a little more obvious for people who don't know you personally.

BTW -- there are companies that will make your design into a stamp. Perhaps you would like to design your own canoe stamp that is easy to read. I really like the "branding" concept for the back of cards. Good luck with your decision.

i think you definitely need to stick with the canoe theme, since that's your blog name. but, i agree with the others here... the canoe stamp choice is a little busy. i say, design your own. these days, they're relatively inexpensive to have made. stampinkub had some info posted on his blog about stamps he had made, and it seemed like a good deal to me.

If not too expensive I'd them both..I say that because no matter which one I'd choose I would wish I had gotten the other one LOL.
The Bear one is easier to read.. but I like the canoe one especially since your blog is paper canoes.

I like both . . . but from a business perspective the canoe one is a bit "fussy". The bear has "cleaner" lines.

I feel you need to have a canoe type image, but also feel the current image is too busy, not enough white space so that your name etc stands out. Can you go back to the drawing board and look for another canoe image??

I really like the bear stamp but, from a business standpoint, it makes more sense to have a stamp with a canoe.

I like the canoe one, really cute, and it matches your business name. It's great for a business stamp. IMO, I think either stamp is a little too busy for the back of a card. You have to think about the application: as a customer buying your cards, would you want to send someone a wedding card with a canoe or a bear on the back? I'd go for something much simpler and more plain. But that's JMO! Good luck to you!

That's me...if I never make another dollar, I am enjoying myself...so if someone doesn't like a bear or a canoe on the back of their wedding card, go get one someplace else....I would put a canoe on the front of mine if I didn't elope...LOL...I do appreciate your point though. I am sarcastic and never serious in real life...it's hard to convey that here!

So...it's looking like the bear is winning...but I do like the suggestions to buy both!! They are only $16 right now...that seems reasonable! Though then I will be having to decide every time I make a card instead of just once...NOW. LOL

I also vote bear! I think it looks very clean and cute. Also, if you base it on something you like and down the road you change your blog name for whatever reason, you still have the name stamp you like and it can go with your next business name too.
