Exciting you were the first to take the plunge. Did you get the starter kit or just the bs?

They have a separate brochure coming out. I think if it was in the big catty, we would have known about it already because of the convention girls.

I ordered a few of the dies to use in my Cuddlebug. I'm not buying the machine at this time since they work in one I already have & I'm a hobby demo so I don't need to show it.

I agree.. if they work in the cuttlebug why get the other machine??? A lot of my customers have the cuttlebug anyway so they WILL NOT buy another machine and since they work in it why spend more unnecessary $$$$

I was online at 12 sharp and placed my order. Oh, my gosh! I ordered the Big Shot package and a bunch of dies. I already have a cuttlebug, but will want to demo this in my classes. I'm big into using embossing folders and it has been a real drag not to be able to use them in my classes. Now, the sky is the limit. I think this will be a great boost to our businesses. Jackie

The Big Shot information is just on the demo side of Stampin' Up!'s website right now... If you're a demo, you can find it there, other wise you're going to have to wait a bit... although I'm sure someone will put all the info on a blog soon... LOL...

After 2 hours of weighing the pros and cons, I think I may keep my CB for embossing folders (at least at first) and order the Big Shot for the die cuts. It's going to mean that I need to have a "garage sale" of my retired stamp sets to help foot the bill. If you're going to buy it, you might as well get the bag! Right?

This weekend I'll work on getting my stamp sets uploaded to my blog and if there is anything you're interested in, please email or PM me.

I have the CB and will probably precut using the SU die cuts for workshops-that way I won't have to invest in the BS right away-my stamp club has already seen the CB and loved it so hopefully the'll love the BS....

i'll buy the dies. i love my bug too much to part with it.
i just hope they all work. though, i've used big shot dies with my bug, so i know they work in it. i just hope the sizing is good on all of the dies.

It does not state that anywhere that I've found. It's not AVAILABLE to customers to order from their demo until 9/2. The flier is supposed to be downloaded and shared until we get our Holiday Mini-where the BS will be featured.
"Until you receive your mini catalogs, print a copy of the downloadable brochure, and pass it around to your workshop guests. Customers can begin ordering Big Shot products beginning on September 2, 2008."

So with that: Voila-it's on my blog already http://cupcakebreath.com
Go to the right hand side bar where it says something about " so you think you are a big shot "

Did you get hostess benefits and stamp sets? I don't want anymore from the old catalog, so I think I will wait until August 12th.
