Default How much do you spend each month on stamping supplies?

As I visit more stamping blogs I discover more online stores that carry awecome stamps and stamping supplies! The internet has opened up a whole new world for stamping inspiration and with it a wide range of new products to add to my ever growing wish list. So that I don't go broke, I limit my spending to a monthly allowance. Sadly, my wish list just keeps growing and growing!!! So I was wondering how much everyone else spends each month on their stamp addiction!!!

I only purchase from my SU stamp club agreement and around 20 to 40.00 a month. I'm stopping that. I have just too much stuff and don't have the time to use it.

It runs between $50-$100 a month. I sell my cards so I try to make that my spending budget as much as possible. I also do a stamp group once a month that I charge $15 per person to do 7 or 8 cards. That also supports this huge addiction I have. I would suggest either doing a stamp group once a month with some ladies who would love to stamp. but don't have it in their schedules. I supply everything but the glue and scissors, and my ladies love it because it is the one time of month they do get to stamp. They don't have time in their schedules to get the ideas and supplies going, so I can solve that problem for them in these monthly stamps!! It will give you some extra money for those tempting items on that wish list.

I voted 300+. It is pretty much that...sometimes way over that. My budget I decided on 1/1/2009 was to be $100 per month...I blew that the first month...lol Maybe will try again in Jan 2010.
blessings.

I spend maybe an average of $25 per month. Some months I don't spend any and other months I go over.

Under $100. DH was laid off in August, so spending changed quiet a bit. Not to mention, for some reason, a pregnancy aversion to stamping. Luckily, I am getting out of the funk. It was weird. SCS and anything stamping gave me nausea.

I usually try to limit myself to $50 from each pay cheque, but some months I go berserk! There is a great little store not too far from my work (Scrapbookers Paradise) that has a 70% off section so I can go nuts in there and get $150 worth of stamps for about $30 most times. The only time I go over my budget is if I go to my other stamp store (Paper Pastimes). They are a little pricey, but they have such a nice selection of stamps. I can usually only get 2 or 3 stamps with my allowance there. I don't buy a lot of paper or embellishements anymore since I have so much.

lol Morissa, hope your feeling better ;)

I would say between $50 a month and more on other months too. Depending how much I want it, but sometimes hubby buys it for me, so that doesnt count lol

I chose $0-$99. Almost every month, I place an order with Papertrey Ink so it is easy to reach that amount by visiting their website.

I've been better this year than I was last year! I am trying to use more and spend less but that is so difficult. Then I discovered digital stamps, which are cheaper, but I tend to buy more because they are so cheap! LOL!

Up until Sept of this year, I was spending a minimum of $100 per month (to make my quarterly SU! mins). But, since Oct 1st, I've only spent $150 total (SU! and PTI orders), so I voted for $0-$99 per month.

OMGoodness! I voted $300+ a month! It's a weakness I have...I love it all! Just by going to the grocery store I spend average $150 on stampin/scrappin goodies a week! That's because I stop at Joanns, Hobby Lobby, and Michaels on my way (and, the store I do my grocery shopping has two aisles of stampin and scrappin thingies)! Then, I order online, and then my SU monthly order... I'm going to try and cut down in 2010....and actually use some of the goodies I've purchased!

$200 counting all my SU! orders, visits to LSS and crops, miscellaneous trips through Michael's and JoAnn's. It adds up but it's factored into my "allowance" each week. If I had a windfall, much of it would go to big-ticket items like BIA, Cricut, Big Shot.

Usually place a workshop's worth every month, but since I'm a demo that # also includes class supplies, etc. I've stopped going into local craft stores except occasionally, since that's where I was spending money on stuff I wasn't using up.

Smile such an addiction

I voted 100+ per month at least. My hubby is always layed off in the winter so spending slows down some (although I just got my latest SU order - 250 worth). That's why i'm trying to decide whether or not to become a demo or not . My thinking is if i'm gonna spend the money ( and I am ) then might as well get some of the benefits:-D

Usually, I don't buy too much per month. I did buy a few things for my Christmas cards this year. Then just last week I came across a deal I couldn't pass up. A SU demo in my area was selling everything she had for less than 1/2 of what it's worth. I got around 70 stamps sets (some are brand new), a Big Shot and dies, a very large stack of paper, markers, water color crayons and lots more. I've got boxes and boxes that I'm still going through! This was a great Christmas present from my hubby!
