Default How many SU stamp sets do you own??

I decided to make a list of all my stamp sets so I could finally get them organized. I was surprised to see that I have 127 SU stamp sets - not including my ODB and others companies stamps. I really did not think I had that many, and the really sad part is, I don't use three quarters of them....bought them to make on specific card that I saw on the gallery, or just had to have out of the mini catalog.

No wonder my hubby says I don't need any more stamps......I fear he's right this time...........

174 sets - that is not including the 14 sets that are coming next week from my workshop! so I guess the total would be 188 SU sets! We won't go into all the rest of the stamps and sets that are not SU! And I have to admit - hubby has never said - don't you have enough - but I think that is because he doesn't realize just how many stamps I do have!!!

Zero. Have never bought anything SU! and never will. Too expensive, too much hassle finding demo's....etc...... although I would seriously love their ink palettes. But I've already invested in lots of Adirondack and Memento.

So, zero SU sets.......but OMG.... probably 200 other sets...not to mention the individual stamps that were wood mounted. BTW, I have unmounted literally all of my stamps. Now I keep them organized in themed binders.

ROTFL! I will never admit to how many SU sets I have or the many, many others! I love them all and can't seem to ever be able to part with any. Scary question! LOL

I've just started getting addicted to SU! so I don't have very many sets yet (keyword: yet!!) My stash is slowly but surely increasing but right now I have probably about 6-7 sets.

Errr... three  All bought either BST here or eBay. I suspect me and sewnmachine will be in the minority though. By the time SU! actually launched here in the UK, I had already discovered the joys of stamping through other routes so I didn't get sucked in. I'm guessing lots of you US gals had your introduction to stamping through SU! and have stuck with them.

Hubby never tells me I can't HAVE anymore, just that I don't need anymore. Many of my sets are of flowers and he has a point ~~ how many flowers sets does one person really need? Apparently about 100 - LOL!!!!! And he's bought several of them for me for Christmas ;-)

I really should pare down my stash to only those that I actually use and let the others go to good homes somewhere....

Too many to count! Actually I don't want to know. I think if I knew how many I had I would talk myself out of buying more. ;)

I have close to 100. I have lots of variety and I'm close to not needing many more SU. There will always be a few new ones I need. I've been happily buying some from B/S/T here. No more e-bay purchases for me. Not for a few years. I have a few sets from other companies.

I doubt I'll ever get rid of many. It's amazing how I won't use a set for a long time and then I need something from it.

14, plus some wheels that I unmounted, do those count? I have 4 of those.

I only have about 70, I think. I was severely limited on space until we moved last fall, so that helped keep my numbers low. I have more I want, though!!

155 plus or minus 10. But I started buying SU! back in 1996 or 97. Gravitated away from them when I found brick-and-mortar store selling stamps, and also bought tons of House Mouse (free shipping over $100 back then plus a load of free goodies as well, if one had a membership or something). Found them again in 2006; found Canadians willing to buy me French sets - spent about $1500 that year (strong Canadian dollar, higher Canadian SU! prices). Then am slowly gravitating away again as companies like PTI, Crafty Secrets, and Magnolia suck up my disposable income.

I have unmounted all my wheels and I love them - so much easier to stamp the image straight and so much easier to clean! Until I unmounted them I never used them because they are terrible to get clean when they are round! LOL

I only have three or four wheels and I've only used one once!! Haven't thought about unmounting them, since they're collecting dust.

I just did it this week. I don't know yet. I know I never ever used them as wheels and I use my background stamps tons, so I hope I use them.

I am gonna say 70 SU sets, with a margin for error of +/- two. I have them listed, but I lost count... I think it is the #of the last line minus 2, which would be 69. But I am also not 100% sure they are all listed.

I know I have not bought actual stamps in a while as I am going through and purging. I have 11 sets I want to use and then sell, so far.

I am going through the galleries of all my stamps and seeing which ones I can find enough ideas for to justify keeping them.

This subject comes up every once and awhile, but at last count I think I have 375 SU stamp sets and maybe like 85 wheels.

Is my DH lurking? I have no interest in counting SU! sets, only in buying them and using them over and over!

Why is it a hassle? Just choose a demo and shop online. You don't have to go to a party or anything.

And all new SU stamp sets will be offered in cling mount now, so they're less expensive and you won't have to worry about wood blocks!

I would love to see a breakdown of how many SU sets were owned before purchasing other brands??

I was a die-hard SU fan when I started about 5 years ago, and have around 100 sets, but at one time had quite a few more...had to ebay a ton to make room for PTI, Unity, MFT and others!

I used to think that was a lot until I saw this:
http://www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/747156

Now I think...man I have so FEW stamps...I showed this to DH when he gave me one of those odd looks when I was unpacking new stamp sets that came in the mail. He was SILENCED!! LOL

At one time I counted and it was over 100. That was the first year I started attending workshops. I have a stressful job of managing government subsidized apartment complexes in a 150 miles radius from my home/office. Between taking care of elderly relatives, children and step-grandchildren I don't have time for girlfriends. My husband is at work by 6 am so he is sleeping by 7 pm and I have 3 or 4 hours most nights to play with my stamps. I look forward to my night out with the girls so I love Stampin Up. Some of the girls and I have scheduled an afternoon get-together and each brings the supplies for everyone to make 2 cards.

214 SU sets, which includes 9 wheels, a number of backgrounds, and a couple single-stamp sets (like Dasher).

I am so jealous, I only have 12 sets, one more on the way
that i bought off the sell fourm here. I would love to have
more and i am sure that i will when i can. I look for stamps that
are for sale on here and buy the ones i want when i can. But i really
haven't been stamping too long, but it has become an obsession. I
am forever looking for stamps.
I went to Fresno last weekend, (girls trip) we went to all the used stores, but
i didn't have much look when it came to getting stamps. I found one stamp and a new ink-pad, I paid 50 cents for it.The stamps was too cute it said " I am a child of the Lord".
I had better luck when i went to the beach. I found 2 PSX-stamps for 50 cents.

I have about 65. I counted them recently when I was cleaning my stamp room. I hate to say most of them, if not all of them, are very neglected. I find I use my PTI stamps mostly, with a few other odds and ends. If I were smart I would sell some of my SU sets, but just never taken the time to figure out how to sell them on-line.

BWaaaahhhh!!!! That means we'll need a "Save the Stamps Campaign" ... maybe get some celebs to sing a cool song and support the less fortunate stamps!"We are the stamps, we are the stampers...etc.)

Mine won't make it to that organization from abuse, but they may from neglect (never enough time to stamp). I don't care! I love every little dot and flower! In fact, I'm kinda sick because I can see a 1/4" leaf and think "Oh, that's from the Best Blossoms set, or whatever! Yet I can't remember where the soccer game is on Saturday.

Anyway...I'm going to guess at over 250... and I keep them all.

I have . . . WAY TOO MANY and I will not count them! Besides the way too many I purchased new, I also purchased many used. My shelves are bowing from the weight of the wood! But, I cannot stand to unmount, but will buy unmounted anytime in the future I buy SU!

There's no such thing as too many stamps ... that would be like having too much chocolate!!

OMG! OH...the insurance!
OMG. That's just overwhelming!

I do have a lot of SU stamps, collected over 10 years, but no where near that many! Holy Toledo Batman!
