I keep seeing photos of stamp storage with 100s of stamps and hearing people talk about collecting stamps for years. I'm curious, how many stamp sets do you own? I'm talking about individual stamps; we'll save that for another poll.
Oh, and don't fret. I made the poll anonymous so nobody will know exactly how many stamp sets you have unless you post and tell us.
I voted. I actually have 2 or 3 dozen of the clear stamp sets, about 30 stampin up sets and maybe 10 other wood stamp sets, plus individuals. i was REALLY lucky though - this summer at the flea market i came across a HUGE storage bin of wood stamps. I talked the woman down to $150. Only when I got home did I realize there were over 30 Stampin Up sets in there alone, tons of individual stamps and other stamp sets, plus supplies. I looked up the cost of every Stampin' Up set if I were to buy it online now, and it was over $1000 worth of stamps. SCORE!
I sold a few sets and made back half the money I'd spent, too
I don't think I want to count!!! I'm looking at my SU sets as they pile up higher with some recent eBay purchases, and then there's a biscuit tin full of ODBD sets and a shoe-box with Flourishes, MFT and Woodware.
It's about bedtime here, though; maybe tomorrow after work I'll be feeling more able to face reality .
I voted. I'm not sure if I'm proud of my vote or not. On one hand, I've got a great collection...on the other hand, I'm thinking about how much $$$$ I've shelled out for my addiction. LOL!!! You don't want to know how many stamps I have....including sets and individual WM/Cling. YIKES!!!!
I have all of mine in an Excel spreadsheet by company, so it's easy to see how many, but shameful to admit... I did just get rid of some, and I'm in the process of eliminating more - does that count? (I'm in the "how did THAT happen?!" category)

Can we just say, A lot? I have been at it awhile and have all kinds, wood, clear, cling and unmounted. I'm thinking that I have enough! (NOT!!!) I do share though......
I have no idea but it is a lot! But I'm a retired widow and I don't drink, smoke or go to the boats (we have several within a 30-minute drive). Plus I'm generous with time and money with my kids and grandsons. I feel everybody needs a vice and mine is stamping and all that goes with it. I'm pretty good at justifying my stash, aren't I??!!!
I told some of the ladies in my scrapbooking group that we should designate a gathering to stamp. I offered to share my stamps so that I'd feel better about buying a stamp set and using it only a couple of times.

Too bad we're a whole country apart! I would love to get together with you to stamp!
Yikes I just counted mine
I didn't realize I had so many sets
I did get some of these sets are garage sales but----
21 sets=SU
8 sets =Gina K
3 sets Cornish Heritage Farms
52 Justrite sets counting the original style and the new cling style
______
84 sets total PLUS 47 singles
I am clearly contributing to Justrite's bottom line
And I think I have enough stamps for a lifetime , maybe two. These things multiply quickly don't they ?

I wouldn't worry, Barbara. With the current votes, you are among 1/3 of the voters with the fewest amount of stamps. (How's that for a different way of looking at it? LOL)

No way! There will always be a new must have stamp! Perhaps an "It's a boy" stamp for a new grandson. Or maybe a dollhouse for a little granddaughter who loves dolls. (Oh, now I'm wishing I had grands!) Or maybe you'll need a special flower stamp for a dear friend who loves a certain flower.

I don't think i want to admit to the number in print....I counted (roughly anyway) all the sets I have in my craft room. I have a whole 'nother box or two in another room and garage and a shelf full in the other room too so I probably have way more than I realize....might put me into the + category.....eek!

I have about 125 sets, maybe a few more. I'm to the point that I want to use what I have and only buy a few sets a year. I probably have around 70 individual stamps....75% are Studio G $1.00 stamps and I love them!

I think I may have just over 150. When I first started stamping I couldn't fathom how some stampers claimed thay had uninked rubber. Now, sadly, I'm in that category. I find I use some stamp sets a lot, and most of the sets just some of the time.
I want to catalog my collection, but I don't want to spend the time cataloging stuff I'm not using. I'm doing a big purge this year and I've already got a box full of stuff to sell off at the next crafty garage sale.
Didn't do an actual count, just a guesstimate. Maybe 2 dozen SU sets and an unknown number of clear sets from various companies. But I'm sure my individual stamps TOTALLY outnumber my sets of stamps.

I guess that I have over 500 that I have accumulated over several years. I have purged a few, but I can't give most of them up. I have spent many happy hours with them and it's still cheaper than therapy??
I'm guessing I have 75 to 80 sets. I catalog everything, but it is not current. And I've just become a SU demo. So here we go, but I truly love my new addiction!
On a basic quick count I reckon I was creeping in just over the 150 mark - about half and half clear and rubber. Rubber is mostly SU apart from ODBD, some Hero Arts sets, and also includes some unmounted Rubbernecker and WhipperSnapper sets.
That's accumulated over about 9 years, I guess - before that I only had about 5 stamps .
I have no idea. Between clear sets and various cling sets from miscellaneous companies along with a substantial number of wood mounted or cling SU I couldn't even give it a good guess.
I also have individual stamps.

I can't remember the last time I purchased an individual stamp... That's been a few years, I think.. But I have all clear stamp sets with a handfull of SU! sets that don't really see the light of day any more.
All of my stamp sets are clear (photo-polymer) and are either stored in CD cases or in their original plastic packaging.

This is exactly why I host a stamp club at my house every month. I use many more stamps that way than I would just stamping on my own!
Yelp!! I have no reason to ever be bored, that's for sure!! I have 34 shelves with 20-30 sets on each...Oh boy!! I'm really not proud of all of that, I rarely show off my collection, but DH sure enjoys showing it off, after all I guess he did build me my room and support me through my purchases. I am very blessed to have such a great Craft room to also share with friends! Yelp!!! Looking forward to a great weekend of stamping and scrapping this weekend! Yay!!

Yeah, I just voted...I easily have in that 151 - 300 range. Don't tell. LOL! That number represents sets. That doesn't account for my individuals. Eeeek!
I clicked off 151-300, but now that I'm looking at them, I think it might be more towards the 350-400 mark! Good thing hubby and I have separate computers. Wouldn't want him to see this.
