Yep! There is a super cute single wood stamp set as well as three other wood Halloween sets. There may be some other all occasion ones as well.

Love love love Stampin Up stuff, but even the sets go around a no come around if you've been buying from them for a long time. The current jar set looks very similar to the jar set I have from them from years ago. So save your old stash! Just like old clothing styles........they eventually come around again!

I like that several sets can be used with the dies and/or punch. Like the Jar of Love - a Christmas set and a Halloween set to go with it! Love the gingerbread punch and the 2 stamp sets that go with it. I have never been much to make Halloween cards, but I think this year that will change! Too Cute!

I have a LOT on my wishlist!! I think I need to take out a loan! LOL

I wish the Star of Light set was rubber... :(. Not a huge fan of polymer. Although it would be a lot pricier so maybe I will anyway. I love the images and dies

I saw the catalog at my demo's house. Not much I'm interested in. The jar set looks like it came from 1999. There are embellishments I like (sequins and baker's twine) but only 1 stamp set that I will consider ordering. There's still a lot from the regular catalog that is on my wish list.

I am going to have to be a lot more selective this year with the Bundles going for over $50.00. Stampin up is almost pricing themselves out what I want to spend.
There are a lot of great companies out there and I have been a very loyal SU customer.
I just bought a kit from Hero arts for 35.00 it came with a stamp set 6 matching dies some specialty paper, stickles and dew drops for $35.

Wow that is such a better deal! I agree that SU's prices are getting too high. And I pay Canadian so it's even worse... Makes one think.

I haven't looked too much at sneak peeks. This year I want to be surprised! I'm sure there is lots I would want but I can't really justify more Xmas purchases when I already have stuff I haven't really used. I agree prices are getting higher. It seems like other company's dies are (I admit I only shop a few places outside of SU) pretty much the same prices. It would be nice if SU ran a 15 or 20% off sale at least a couple times a year.

You could make this happen by signing up as a demo to get the 20 % discount. You don't have to sell or place another order.

I agree! I was shocked at the price of the bundles. I really want the new set that's only available for August. I'm willing to pay the $52.00 but I hqvent ordered yet. It might be gone by the time I get around to it!

This holiday catty is incredible. I won't be buying much as I'm to the point where I have enough!

My head is spinning with all the bundles in the holiday catalog from what I have seen so far! It's nuts!
I would sign up as a hobby demo if the minimum was less $$$. I don't want to feel that I have to buy something, anything just to make that. So I check out the clearance rack regularly and watch here for sales notices!

Vintage? Yes. There's an old fashioned Santa set. Another one has a beautiful train with a wreath on it.
Not sure what you are thinking when you say realistic.

I have a feeling it is "not" to be found. If you get my meaning.

The prices are way to high here in Canada for me to purchase something for Christmas that is a short season. I have a lot of supplies already. I am going to try to stay away from purchasing anything. Wish me luck!

I got my Holiday catty in the mail today!
Yes, the prices are shocking so I will be trying to determine what I REALLY want and would use the most! I have a few stamps from years past that are similar to some in the catty (2001 DD Pinecones, for one) - so I cannot justify buying the newer ones and I do a lot of fussy cutting so I cannot let the dies sway my thinking!
I have to remind myself that "used" stamps or I should say retired stamps (even if they are NUM) do not sell. I've tried that! :( So I MUST be careful in my purchases.
