Okay...I have just been asked to design a Bridal Tea invitation for my cousin! Does anyone have any ideas that would be cute and dare I say....up to date and modern? LOL
I stink at this sort of thing! Ha!
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
Lindsey

One tip: Do the insides (all the info) on the computer. I did one by stamping who, what, where, and filling in all the info by hand. It took forever! The next one I did on the computer, it looked great and took a fraction of the time.
Good luck!

That is what I was thinking....I am def. going the route of typing on the computer. Her colors are Fucia (sp) and Kiwi green! Any stamp recommendations? I am drawing a blank on which stamp set to use!!!! Should I do flowers or do something more bride traditional with a dress or something?
She is a very elegant but modern type girl! This is part of my gift to her, so I want them to be something she will like.

There are so many great ideas in the gallery. I just typed in "tea" to see what might come up. I've included 3 links of three very different styles of cards that you might like or get an idea from. I love to peruse the gallery for ideas!

A pocket card is always a surprise. With it being a bridal tea, you could add a packet of tea and the invitation. I'm pretty sure I've even seen a kiwi colored packet of tea either by Stash, Choice Organics or Tazo (sorry, I buy a lot of organic teas, but can't always keep them straight!).
I used Going out in Style and the Millinery wheel to do my girlfirend's tea party for her baby shower...I used a rhinestone for her bling on her finger, it was cute! This would be adorable in those bright colors =)

the baroque motif is quite popular these days -- curvy lines like in the set "Pricelss", "Baroque Motifs", "Brocade Basics" -- as part of the invite anyway. That's what I think I would do.

Two "Misti's" can't be wrong. Baroque Motifs can be elegant or fun. Depends on whether it is a formal "tea" or just a get together. Just my opinion.
I like the idea of the pocket card too.
