I just spent 3 hours making cards and I don't like any of them! I try to many things or am afraid to try others and everything looks crappy to me....I'll post them as soon as I get all my stuff back into the closet...can't wait till I have a room for this!

I hate it when that happens. I am in several swaps and have to create several styles of cards. I can't figure out what I want to do because whenever I create one I don't like it. On a side note, I am confiscating my dining room for a craft room. Right now my crafts take up my living room. We have a huge living room so I am gonna move my table in there and then move all my craft stuff in the dining room. We don't ever eat on the table anyway. So yah! I am getting a stamp room. Now to talk DH into it. He is coming home on leave in a few days so he has to help me move it all.

I stamp every Wednesday night with a friend of mine and that happened to me this past week - and I hate that! It doesn't happen often but I'm always so disappointed when it does. BUT tomorrow is another day.....to stamp! So, don't be so hard on yourself.

I spent last night designing (trying is more like it) cards for my Monday night group. Good thing it's still only Sunday or they wouldn't have much to look at. My cards are way too symmetrical, so I just searched out some good ideas in the gallery. Lots of inspiration there!
I can relate. I went to a stamp camp yesterday afternoon, came home all excited, then hated what I made. Happens to everyone, I guess. Fear not - you'll get your inspiration back! BTW, that's why I CASE most everything I make :-D
I had that happen last Christmas when I was trying to find a sample I liked. I think I made 8-10 samples and none of them really struck me but I just made 3-4 more of each one and sent them anyway. I've already started collecting samples for this Christmas. Just hang in there and keep trying and keep looking at the galleries.
I hate days like that! I had one yesterday too. I stamped most of the evening (my family was out) and can't stand any of it. back to the drawing board I guess.
When I have that problem, which is often, I set the project aside. I work on other things and keep coming back to the stinker. Sometimes I add things, sometimes I cut up the parts for something else and sometimes it hits the garbage.
It is just as annoying as making the perfect card and then screwing up the message. I feel your pain!
I made a nice one.. but sometimes I have a yucky one turn out before I can fine tune it.. here is a yucky "too much" one... needs some serious fine tuning!!!!

This happens to me every so often too! Sometimes I just get a 'brain freeze' and I am not happy with anything. Best thing for me to do, is to just remove myself from my workshop and try again tomorrow...but can be difficult to do, since I am such a perfectionist! Do something fun...other than stampin'...and you'll get uour 'MOJO' back! Good luck Judy!!!
