I don't have a cat any more, but she ALWAYS was in the middle of whatever I was reading or doing. Many times I ended up reading the newspaper around her but I wouldn't have had it any other way. Just enjoy them.
lol...yup, that happens a lot...it usually means (she thinks) I'm not paying enough attention to her...I just stop what I'm doing and pet her until she decides that's enough attention and walks away:p
Mine only get on my table when I am not home. Right now it is covered with clutter. They will lay on the floor usually while I am working. They looveeee ribbon and paper

My Kinsey will usually lay down near me, although she does get on my desk sometimes. She has long hair, and no matter how hard I try there is usually a hair in the adhesive on the back of the layer. If it pokes out and shows I pull it out with my tweezers, or cut it off close enough that it doesn't show. But she's my baby, no way would I shut her out of where I'm working. Thanks for sharing the adorable photos.

Oh yeah...that's how kitties roll! Lol! I love that! And, as my sweet friend Grace says, no card is complete without at least one cat hair!

I have two cats and my orange tabby loves to be involved in whatever I am doing. He's so funny. And whenever I play a board game with the kids he loves to lay down right on top of that too. Or when I am doing laundry he is always in the laundry basket. Not to mention he is getting into the dryer when he sees the dryer door open. He is so silly .
Thanks for sharing all the cute kitty pics.
Dianne, I always have cat hair in my adhesive too.
Karen, I have 5 cats and a dog too. Mine is a rat terrier, and she holds her own with all these cats. What kind of dog do you have?

Our 14 month old male tabby pretty much now leaves my stuff alone, although he was like a squirrel when he was a kitten and into anything and everything!
I have a towel folded up on top of a stack of Sterlite drawer units for him when he feels like hanging around. I always keep what I'm not using put away- tools in a drawer, stamp pads closed, etc. I have a very small workspace and don't have the room to spread everything out.
My cat doesn't sleep. I can be working in my craft room for hours and he will be awake and into stuff the entire time. Never get a Bengal if you don't want a very active cat. He is 8 years old and acts like a kitten.

That's exactly how I feel!
No pic ... but my now-15-year-old Sonnet used to swat my wood mounted stamps into the den, dining room, etc. while we slept. I just never knew where I might spot a stray stamp! ;)
Love all the photos; brings back fond memories of my cats. My Cindy always sat on my lap whenever I did crafts - ever try to cross stitch with a cat on your lap, such fun for her with all the floss!
I tell my stamp club that dog and cat hair is always no extra charge. Our orange cat loves to get on the table and help everyone. Lately the shy cat has been getting in on the act. Never a dull moment over here.

My cat isn't a problem in my craft room. Other than sitting on my desk. Dog, OTOH, are. Since my craft room is open to the man cave, it's hard to keep dogs out of it. One evening, my weimaraner went into my room and got a bottle of bright pink acrylic paint. As she squirted it all over DH's pants and shoes and the couch and the floor, the Brittany chimed in by getting a bottle of purple glitter. They both looked quite innocent, too. I just had to laugh about him cleaning up a pink & purple glittery mess from his very outdoorsy man cave. Then buy him new shoes.

My cat Munchkin helps me take pictures.
If I walk away I find him in the photo box . LOL Note the camera is off the tripod. I must have just loaded the picture onto my computer.
He also lays on the table watching me when I work, even if he has to lay on part of the project

I love all the pictures. The one peeking in the drawer is just LOL! Thank you to everyone who shared. I have three cats. They all must lay on my desk while I craft. All of them at the same time. I don't have any pictures but I really need to get a few shots. If I am crafting on the floor then my cats have to lay really close to me. None of my "angels" have learned the concept of personal space. In my craft room are my rabbit and guinea pig. They must also be included. I usually have my rabbit in my lap. If she's not in my lap then she's sleeping on a cat. My guinea pig is squealing to watch movies. His favorite actor is Willem Dafoe. My piggie's favorite movie is the English Patient. I am not joking about any of this. He actually talks to the movies. He becomes furious if I decide to watch a horror movie.

Hi Karen,
my little dogger is Toby. He is a wire haired terrior. He and my 2 male kitties are best buds! Toby and my orange tabby, Wizzy, often sleep together.
Yesterday, Coco - my BIG black kitty and Toby were stretched out with each other.
the girls, don't want anything to do with Toby!

These photos and stories are all awesome! How many times have you heard people say they don't like cats because they are too standoffish and aloof? My kitty just n
doesn't get that concept st all!
Thanks to everyone sharing their photos and stories. I no longer have cats as my now husband is allergic to them. My two favorite cats loved to get involved with my stamping things. Mr. Peepers will always be remembered as the cat who jumped on my craft table just as I had the lid off the jar of dazzling diamonds. When he jumped on the table, the jar fell onto the tile floor...face down. He then jumped down into the dazzling diamonds, and flicked the jar away with his paw, then proceeded to swish his long-haired tail into the glitter. Glitter was EVERY WHERE. All over the floor. All over his tail. All over everywhere he went from that point forward. My other cat, Hannah, just loved jumping on the table and finding the sponges, and knocking them onto the tile floor and would spend hours batting them around. Aw, I miss those times!
