Hi, Sue -- Your link didn't quite work, but try posting it again. We don't mind experimenting.
Ok, looks like my experiment worked - LOL, but not sure HOW I even did it - LOL -is there a short way of compressing the link to "HERE" or something similar?
Your directions are good, but I did not see anywhere to click for the Preview Post - just went to directly to submit reply

Thanks for your help Judi -
Question, if you are linking more than one card, after you right click and paste your first one, do you just go back and get another one in the same way, and so on?
Sorry, I feel so helplessly dumb when it comes to computers - LOL - I don't even know what URL stands for!!!

Yes, although we are hoping to at least keep the screen names with the links so that people can use the "Search This Thread" tool to find their mention. Here's the SCS tutorial for embedded links: Splitcoaststampers - Help

You won't see it in the Quick Reply box. You have to either click on the Reply button or the Go Advanced button to get to the Reply to Thread box. There are two buttons side-by-side below that box, Submit Reply and Preview Post.
Thanks for your help Judi -

Yes, that's it exactly. You keep your Reply to Thread window (or tab) open while you load the cards in separate windows (or tabs).

There are no doubt many other people who don't know how to do this and are happy you are asking questions. URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, for example, the unique location of a specific webpage on the World Wide Web. It's the http:// address that appears at the top of your browser, in the address bar. To link to something, you need to copy its URL.

Okay now, Pat...
LYMI = Love You, Mean It. I had to look that one up, and it's a lot more fun than "URL."
Lisa, thank you so much for mentioning my card on the favorites thread! What a way to start a Monday morning! I will be grinning from ear to ear all day!
Thank you so much Judi for mentioning my Bronte and Louis card! I'm still very new to the Derwent Inktense pencils and the fact that you added it to you favourites just for that makes me feel awesome! I'm getting better at it slowly Thanks again and have a wonderful day!

Thanks Libby! There were no comments on my card for awhile so you've made my day!!!
P.S. If your screen name means you r a displaced Texan, so am I! Born and raised there, now living in NJ. *smile*
Cindy, the picture you used on that card really stood out when I was looking through the gallery. I am a Texan, although not a native, and currently displaced due to going where Uncle Sam decides to send DH.

I appreciate this thread because I'm very time-restricted these days, and this is a great way to at least catch up to some of the best for the week! Thanks to everyone who posts here! Off to view some of these lovelies...

Reason: wrong info
Libby (texan947) - I am totally honoured that you chose my card as one of your favourites! I don't usually get a lot of "traffic" on my uploads, so thank you very much!
On a side note, I didn't know about this thread. I'll be sure to share some of my favourites too!

I hope you will, Sheila.
With thousands of gallery uploads every week, it's hard to keep up. The more people share their links, the less the rest of us will miss.
