It's Dec 10th and unless I missed it, there hasn't been any mention of the excitement and anticipation of this month's DDD coming up in just a few days?! Is everyone just getting caught up in the excitement of the holidays and upcoming SAB?

Actually, we've decided to make ourselves into Dirty Girl Divas this month by giving each other makeovers instead of making cards. This was an expensive month. Lots of airline costs involved. (Julie, you live so far away!)
Why not start out the new year with makeovers? We thought you all would like something a bit different this month. You know... perhaps a virtual runway of good-looking stampers this month instead of cards and projects!
Catie??? where are you??? we need some cat-walk tips before we open! Mrrrreow! Help! I nervous! I'm afraid I will puke behind the curtain before it opens! What do I do?????!!!!! This dress is too small! Alterations! Alterations! Oh no! A tear in the material! Wardrobe Assistant! Where are you? I just KNOW I will fall flat on my face in these high heals!
So, what does the SCS community think of this new approach taken by the DD? I know the new dirty girl thought it was a great idea, although a new makeover she herself did not need, the bomb she is!
A little velvet, new eyeglasses, pierced belly buttons, new jeans, new designer outfits, some pockets, belts, and baubles, and even a few fashionable items to carry. Some Divas even chose glamorous new looks. A little bling, anyone? One of us even got a new vehicle to help usher the new year in with style - LUCKY CHICK she is :p !
Ok, so was that whole makeover thing a clue???? Hmmm....makeover - New Year's resolutions = New Year's cards/making something spectacular out of something ordinary? Nah, I'm terrible at guessing, so I'll just have to wait for the grand reveal. :rolleyes:

When styles of the past have really been scary
Getting makeovers is so very merry
Polyester is out, but denim is in
Velvet sublime, and rhinestones the thing!
Polkadots, bright stripes, flowers and stars
Someone�s now driving a little pink car
There�s clearly some beads and plush ribbon to boot
A belly button ring that�s really a hoot!
The jeweler among us made earrings divine
And someone has bagged up a bottle of wine
Clusters of snowmen out in the cold
Some alphabet letters make monograms bold
The DD had fun with this current passion
You�ll find their creations are THE latest fashion
When the secret�s unzipped, you are quite sure to find
Creations decked out, of the very best kind!
Great poem Julie. Hmmm, let's see, between Julie's poem and Michelle's "clues", could we be dressing something up?? Like cards, presents (I like presents), and wrapping paper. :confused:

Ooooh! We're supposed to guess the new Dirty girl, too? I thought we just guessed the theme. (My guesses have never been close! LOL!) Seeing the new Dirty girl is one of my favorites parts each month. I don't think I could guess. But I could name a few that would be great on the team!

Saw some cute earrings by SheStampsHeCamps. Could that be Julie's jeweler? Then again, there a a couple of names that could fit like ruby or diamond or emerald. Jeweleintn has some really cool cards.
I give up!!! too many ideas and my brain starts wilting.

So maybe the new Dirty Girl's name is Mary Kay or her initials are MK???!!! Now I have to go troll through all the M's in member galleries to see if we have a Mary Kay I don't know about. Gosh, only 2 more days...yippee!! I'm so bad at figuring out clues. Never did very well with Encyclopedia Brown books. :rolleyes:

It almost sounds like the DD has stamped articles of clothing/jewelry to wear? If I've learned anything in guessing all of these past months, is that I'm no good at guessing. As far as guessing who the new DD member is, I'm totally clueless.

as we CASE with abandon their amazing designs

We're not going to see that darn cat in a pink car are we? Hee Hee! I like the retro/funky and pampering items idea. Jewelry is another good idea. Blue and pink must be in there somewhere. I'm so lousy at guessing. Can the next 24 hours pass quickly?!!
