have any of the blogs clarified the eyelet mystery? I find it hard to believe they are getting rid of so many eylets just after getting the crop o dile in the catty. I admit I have just gotten back from vacation (today) so I may have missed conversation on this one.
Well if they're already writing reviews for it, why aren't they in the new F/W catalog?! Argh -- more waiting!!
This is an old review for the Standard Ellison Big Shot (not a review for a Stampin' Up Big Shot) They just so happened to mention that the SU! Brass Templates work in the Big Shot (they work in the Cuttlebug too with the proper sandwich)

Has anyone posted pictures of the new scrapbook kits? I really want to see what Christmas set we are going to have to work with to make our Christmas cards this year....
The craft critique site is not affiliated with SU so its review of Big Shot doesn't tell us anything about whether SU will be selling its own version. If SU is offering a Big Shot Machine it might be offered for the first time in the next Mini Catalogue, since it clearly isn't in the one just released.

Dinner is in the oven, and the kids are already bathed. We start movie marathon at 4. I am hoping that there will be some fun blog postings tonight. Hmmm, how many screens can I get going at one time? I don't know about the rest of you but this waiting is so overrated!!
I was so UNIMPRESSED to hear that there were already Memento Mall items on eBay that I contacted the seller.
This is what I wrote:
Dear xxxx,
Are you a demonstrator currently attending Convention? If you
are, I would think you might feel a bit bad selling these items on
eBay. I'm sure Stampin' Up! would be disappointed to know that
an active demonstrator bought these things to re-sell them at a
profit.
A lot of demonstrators are watching your listings and are
disappointed too. I'm sure you don't care what I have to say, but
it just doesn't speak well for someone who works with such a
fabulous company to do something like this. That said, I know a
lot of people want these items so I'm sure they will sell for quite
a price...
Now, I'm sure it was wrong of me to contact the person in this way, but quite frankly I'm disgusted.
I did it, it's done and there's no going back. Rather out of character for me, but oh well.

i ALMOST did that. after i reported to auctions to SU! of course (which i did). but i decided against it, mostly cause i knew that it wouldn't be as clearly written out as yours.

A- I think your email was nicely written- and the truth of many threads here, and in the blog world. It will be interesting to see if they contact you, and if so what they say. Or if a "story" is made up (thinking of the person who is once again ebaying off her dear departed friends SU (SNEAK PEAK items!!) stuff currently.)
Friendly mod reminder-- Please don't name names when discussing ebay sellers' possible unethical activities. SCS could get into trouble for such posts. ;)
i am so glad you sent the note. I would have done it myself, but i am not an e-bay person at all. I have looked a few times, but never bought anything there. I think if ican not get it in the store it was not ment for me...But thank you so much for writting the note. I stad beside you and support your note...I think Stampin Up is offering some great deals and ideas how can one destroy them by selling for a profit.
In other news i can not wait to see what all the buss is about with the new catty...I am so excited to see it. the sneak peaks have been great and i WANT MORE!!! LOL.

Yes....I'm sorry, I should have been more specific in my original post.
This is not a critique of an SU! Big Shot....just the original version by whomever makes it. I just thought it was interesting to note that it does work with the SU embossing templates. The reviewer also used Fiskars templates and they worked. There was also information that any embossing/die cut plates, templates from any manufacturer will work. If that is true, it would be a great market for SU to enter. I don't currently own any sort of die cutting/embossing tool and would love this! And if i had endless possiblities of templates & dies, then that's even better!
I wonder if a partnership/announcement might be some type expansion on the Decor Elements. Not really more wall words but more like some type of home decor. We have sure seen a lot of storage type stuff for the past year. Could there be some sort of connection?

Mine Too! I still cannot believe I expedited! Thats what happens when I place an order shortly after midnight after a few drinks.... (and yes I was surprised it let me place the catty on my order before 7:30am MT but I wasn't complaining!). This was my get out of pending order with my sneak peak items. Luckily I had found a new customer who had placed a $150 order earlier in the week so I didn't have to order $400 worth of stuff myself. That was my justification in being able to expedite it, :-)
I'm not sure if this was mentioned previously, but SU! demo's were not the only people allowed at the convention. I believe I read that non-demo's could go, for a much higher price. I don't think it's a bad thing to be on e-bay selling something that most of us that couldn't go would want. It does put a damper on the exclusivity of the item since the winning bidder didn't get it at convention. I'm jealous I didn't go and couldn't get a tote myself. But if I had, I wouldn't have felt it any less special knowing some one bought it on e-bay. Because I would have gotten it AT convention. JMHO  (and no, I did not bid on it - too $$$!)

Only Demo's where allowed to purchase Memento Mall items the first day though...
Has anyone been back to Lydia's blog this evening?!?! She just stated that she was in a class with Spencer Willis and he told them they should include something (not sure WHAT it was?!?!) on their blog on their demo site! So BLOGS for demos!
She ALSO posted that when online ordering is implemented, customers will be able to shop by COLOR!
