Since July of 2004, we’ve thanked our Fan Club members for supporting Splitcoast financially with a themed monthly gallery. We think up a theme, and our twelve talented designers create away, filling the gallery with all kinds of things to inspire and enable, and to give you a little something extra for your contributions to Splitcoast. We know you love to ogle the projects every month, and we know you’re all immensely talented, too.
Then we thought - how fun would it be get our Fan Club members to play along in challenges with us? With that thought, Dare to Get Dirty week was born. We're happy to celebrate our 12th anniversary with you with a week full of stamping challenges.
So what’s this all about?
Easy. It’s all about you. Sure, we’re playing, too, but we want to see what you do when you're challenged!
Our Dirty Dozen Designers, both past and present, have a fun week planned for you. You’ll see a little of everything – inspiration, 3D items, color and layout challenges, techniques, tutorials . . . . and besides the stamping part of things, we wanted to add something else, more personal interaction! We’ve got everything all pre-posted and ready to go, and the girls will be there in the chat threads to answer any of your pressing questions. If you’ve ever wondered how someone does something, ask away. They’re there to dish and share their dirty little secrets with you!
Do I have to do them all?
Nah, just do what you can or what grabs you, or just jump in and chat with the girls if you can’t actually stamp during the challenges. We want to see your work and get to know you better!
What if I do do them all?
Good question! How about a prize drawing for those who complete all of the challenges (combining challenges is cool, of course!) and upload by August 8th at 11:59 PM CST?
So when does it all start?
Saturday, July 30th, we’ll post the first set of challenges here, and will continue posting challenges through Saturday, August 6th.
Are there any rules?
Have fun! Combine challenges, go nuts with one challenge and do ten entries. Upload to your gallery, post your creations on your blog . . . just keep the details of the challenges in the Fan Club forum, okay? (This means in your description, don't say: "This card is for Kim's challenge to use blue and yellow - challenge details are for Fan Club members only) That’s it!
Only Fan Club Members will be able to upload to this event gallery and win prizes, but everyone will be able to view and comment on your creations.

I just L.O.V.E. the Dare To Get Dirty challenges that you hold every year!! I've been looking forward to it as always but especially this year as my stamping muse has disappeared while I un-mount my huge pile of wood mounted stamps this past year (almost done, yay!). I can't wait for D.T.G.D. 2016 Challenges!!!!!! Thanks Lydia and ALL the Dirty Girls, past and present, who put this together and everybody else who works behind the scenes that I don't know about. You all are awesome for doing this and it is so appreciated!!!!
I can see I will be burning the midnight oil this year. My fav challenges are this one and HYCCT. The week of this year's challenge will need to be shared with my DGD's birthday, my full week of meetings and an election!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I will do it

Seems like most years this coincides with my annual get-away at a lake in northern Michigan with my two besties (since 4th grade!), so I won't probably get to play much. But, I just want to say a huge "Thank You!" to the Dirty Girls who come up with the challenges and share in the forum each year ~ it is an awesome event! I've been a fan club member since the beginning and have played along in DTGD when I can; have fun everyone, and I hope to squeeze in a few of the challenges : )

My membership just lapsed and some trip plans for that week were cancelled - time to rejoin and play along! I LOVED HYCCT but have never participated in DTGD (wasn't a Fan Club member, kids were too little and off school, on vacation, etc.) but I sense THIS is the year to play!
Wow, I think this works into my schedule rather nicely. I do look forward to not only the challenges but seeing which dirty girls take part.

I'll have to miss the first two days, but will be excited to play as it's been two years since the last time I participated. Love the challenges and creativity shared by the DTGD team!!
Oh, I thought maybe that was just HYCCT. I get those two confused, but since she said combining was good, I thought maybe we didn't need a separate card for each challenge.
So looking forward to this again this year! It has been a rough year and I have had very little opportunity to get on and chat with all you wonderful ladies or create much of anything. I did get to do HYCCT but haven't really done anything since.

I love DTGD, and managed to achieve queendom for three years now. This year-- Not promising. I've shoulder surgery scheduled for a week from next Tuesday, and will be in a sling, on my dominant side, for six weeks. Eh! Oh, well...

Last year was my first year participating in DTGD and I had tons of fun! I've got my calendar marked
My first time too, Carla, and it was awesome! I only participated in a few challenges, but loved seeing all the wonderful creations and amazing talent!
I hope DH doesn't suddenly become spontaneous with a vacation that week, I may have to turn him down. :-P

I'm so excited to be hosting DTGD16nancylittrell on Aug. 5th. I have played as a Fan Club Member many times, but my 1st time to host now that I am a DD girl..alumni :-) So many awesome challenges as always....something or many things for all Fan Club Members :-) We are in count down mode...only 2 weeks to go! I have been away from the site and not stamping much through the summer so I'm really looking forward to DTGD. We had my son's wedding last weekend and now we're driving my DD who flew home for the wedding back to Colorado, but when we're home it will be time to stamp!
