I am not sure where to post this, but I am wondering if there is a dare to get dirty for 2009 planned? Last year it was about the third week in July.
Did I miss something this year? Last year I was at a conference and I vowed to try to take vacation when this happened this year.
Yes! We will! I'm away from home and only slightly awake (my husband is running a full marathon today, and I've gotta drop him off at the start), but when I get back to the hotel, I'll come back and post dates. Jen del Muro has been busy, busy, busy getting everything organized. It's going to be fun, and we hope you'll be able to join us!
I just joined last July, so I think I was so overwhelmed that I just completely overlooked Dare to get Dirty. What is it that I have to look forward to?

Meg,
The DTGD (Dare To Get Dirty) Challenges last for three days. There are different challenges each hour, hosted by the Dirty Dozen and Alumni.
It is great fun!! There is no 'time limit'... you can take your time and complete them as you wish.
I, personally, cannot wait!!! I have had the privilege of *peeking* at the behind the scenes, so I can say for certain that you all are going to be thrilled!
Oh, sounds awesome! And thanks for planning it around my trip to see my parentals--I will have a day of rest when I return before it all starts. I know you did that just for me.
(ps-Toy, you may have a typo in your signature unless they've added 4 more days to July this year. ;) )

LOL.. Oops! Thanks for the headsup! I am sure people reading that were going WTH?~!
Last year there was a deadline about a week after the DTGD ended for uploading all the challenge cards. I am guessing it will be similar this year, probably? You just can't get everything done in the time! At least, I couldn't - but the time difference was against me too.
Nope, you can do some, all, whatever you'd like; that's the fun of it!

Hey, I get from this that everyone makes their cards at home and uploads them? Or do you GO somewhere like a convention? Am I right? What if you don't have the capability on your computer to upload. Can anyone view the ones that are sent in? Is this the only way to participate????

It's all here on Splitcoast. Challenges are posted and you make your cards and post them to the SCS gallery.
