Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending June 5, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS) Favorites of the Week Thread! Here's the place where we single out our best CAS finds in the gallery uploads for the previous week for a little love and appreciation.

Here are my favorites from the past week.
ctorina showed that with the right color choices and layout, even a bunch of layers and a dramatic ribbon treatment can still be beautifully, elegantly CAS
HeartHugsDesigns used a touch of stickles to make her simple graduation card extra fun and special
hskelly added just the right amount of glitter to the ends of her daisy petals (and just enough polka dots, too) on her pretty IC287 card
Kharmagirl not only colored her little piggie to perfect, she used a totally fab chicken wire impression plate for a subtle and oh-so-effective background
Disaster shows that grunge can be CAS...with a lovely sense of balance and just the right colors...on her one-layer birthday card
cmcmathey blinged generously on her fun and colorful graduation card
krystie lee went soft and subtle...with dramatic touches of black...on her delightful Just Because card
Clear and Simple's Tweet Friend card is adorable with its summer colors, clean lines, and fabulous shading
biggan creates small works of art every week, and her die cut challenge card is no exception with its handmade clay heart
sgoetter sponged a gorgeously nautical one-layer Father's Day card
lisaadd used gold liquid pearls as the perfect accent for her lovely Memory Box image on her simple sympathy card
KY Southern Belle posted a simply sweet Baby Love card that shows how perfect paper piecing can be
LexAndDave used a very cool design and awesome color combo to spotlight her chevron stripes
vdutchr blew me away with her awesome CC325 card...the level of detail on her clean design is fabulous
mom2n2 used cheerful colors and great shapes to make her CAS Hello card leap into my favorites
Now it is YOUR turn! What CAS deliciousness did YOU find in the gallery this past week? Please do share!
Aw thanks Susan! Thank you Karen for the heads up too! I'm so glad you changed your avatar so now I know what you look like! God bless you both and have a wonderful day.

I love this thread....I have had little to no time to look in the gallery, post a card or even make a card for that matter. For the past 2 weeks been battling a head lice outbreak (insert scream!! very loud scream!!) with a few of my daycare kids. Thank goodness I didn't get it although it has been much time spent vacuuming, cleaning, washing etc.....
coming here makes me happy so thanks to all of you that post....
Thanks so much, Marie(momof5sons), for mentioning my CAS card for this week. What a happy start you gave to my morning. Thanks too, Karen, for letting me know. Hugs, Sallie

Arrrrggghhhh!!!!!!! You're making my head itch in sympathy!!! Good luck with that. I found, during Nick's outbreak a few years ago, that there are times when being obsessive really pays off. We got it under control pretty quickly...but not nearly quick enough for me!
Big, big hugs to you and all your little friends with itchy heads!

OH NO!
I've never been close to head lice before (very thankful) but I know it must be AWFUL! Hope you get over it soon.
Coming here makes me happy too. The more posts the merrier! I absolutely love gazing the gallery. I learn so much!

Susan, thank you so much for mentioning my card!!! Made my day Karen, thanks for letting me know! Here's a few CAS cards I added to my favorites this week.
Thanks Fionna for mentioning my Mambo Square card! I'm so glad you liked it. And thanks Karen for letting me know. My sympathy goes to you and the moms of all your little charges. I hope you get some stamping time this week.
Fionna - Thank you so much for picking one of my cards as a CAS Favorite. I am always inspired by Susan's gallery.
And another thank you to Karen for letting me know. Sorry to hear about the lice outbreak. Thankfully the daycare my boys attended was very small and we were blessed to never have to deal with that stress.

Uggggggghhhh. Into each life....I hope that the worst is behind you. I (knock wood) have never had to deal with them. I'm not sure that I have the fortitude to maintain the level of diligence needed to get rid of them. Hugz - from a distance ;)
