I am so glad for the challenge hostesses to share their challenges here! Stacy has been awesome in posting the challenges. Sadly, I have been struggling with sickness. I haven't had the energy to get on the computer until the afternoons. Here's hoping I am almost to the end of this. bleck!

I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well, Angie. And yes, hoping you are completely well very soon! Kick that sickness to the curb! Hugs!
Fun trivia fact my dad's mom whose real name was Georgia. her nick name was JOY so, I have you know a collection of sentiment stamps and word dies for JOY
Good Morning it's Sunday
( I think my tree is going up today this year) (we bought a fake one with the lights embedded in the branches and it was delivered last thursday) so, I guess we should cut the box open

Have fun decorating. We bought fake a few years back and I’m happy we did. While I miss the beauty and fragrance of a real tree, I love the embedded lights and no needle droppings or worrying about watering. The only negative for me so far is storing it afterwards. It’s a heavy beast and takes my husband and stepson to hoist up into a platform in our garage rafters. Enjoy
I am hoping I will see something I can squeak a VSN challenge out of too.
one of the things I had done a few weeks ago when I was putting things away from getting a new stamping desk was
I have been receiving some older stamps from eBay in the mail and one day I started putting them on the shelf in front of
jars of buttons and mulberry flowers (etc) and then the next time I came up the stairs I thought oh, you should dig out some of
the others so you can play with them. and so I did. so far, two of the VSN cards I have made this weekend used things from that wall
and scraps from the table.
(I need a new scrap system they are all dumped in a box on a side table right now)
Do you have your collections out where you can enjoy seeing them?

i love your display and some of those older stamps are really lovely. “SNOWY”. I spy Snowy in your collection. Yay! I don’t have a display for stamps, but I do have a lot of cards tacked up and sitting about that I sometimes use for inspiration.
Stacy, I love your stamp display. My stamps are in containers and I remove the ones I want to stamp with then place them back. Maybe one day, I can display a few and look at them. To answer your question about VSN, I am working on some of them. I have 6 or 7 left if I wish to complete all of them. Some are really nothing I am interested in, but I may give them a try.

me, I do not like to dust... so my wood mounted stamps except those backgrounds in the back on the top live in iris brand project cases. ( most are in a legal sized file cabinet drawers but, a few are on the bottom of an altered bakers rack) so, this is just a temp. thing like digging out your Christmas boxes for the rest of the house. and when I am not taking photographs there are vintage table cloths over thing like the big shot and such. and hand towels over the clear bins of unmounted stamps.
oooh the color challenge this weeks totally looks like you could make it work with snowmen. ( YAY )

I have my stamps in the DVD like case they came in if they are SU and others are in storage sleeves. I need to finish organizing them. I have unmounted almost all of my wood mount stamps and they take so much less space!
Sadly, in our current house I do not have space to show my collection. I have quite a number of miniature pianos all tucked away in boxes waiting for the day when I have room to display them. For now, I don't have to dust them!
Angie, I hope you are feeling better. I have been staying up late making last minute Christmas cards. I did make a couple using this week's sketch. I think I'm almost done making cards. These are to go with the pumpkin bread we are giving to our neighbors so hand delivery.
[QUOTE=ohmypaper!;22137918]I apologize for dropping out of sight. I am still recovering. Thank you so much Stacy!
Oh Angie, I am so sorry you are still dealing with illness. The bugs seems particularly tenacious this year. I hope you feel much much better soon. Hugs.
Merry Christmas Eve!
The mixed media is doing "Tea" time, I love that, and a bunch of the people who I will need thank you cards for Christmas for are tea drinkers so, I need to check that out for sure.
In the new year, every challenge hostess is still welcome to come over here and list their challenges! I will be checking in but since my husband's shift changed, I just can't get over here in the mornings so we need to try something new.
We can chat about the challenges, share links to any SCS challenge, share links to our favorite projects we are creating during the week, etc. We would love to know what you are working on, etc!
My question is, have you stepped into your art room over the holiday break? Feel free to share a link if you have made something!
I did use the craft room over the holidays. I made this card yesterday for the Featured Stamper challenge. Here's my card
I am enamored with the Clean and Simple Card group on Facebook -- especially two of the artists who post there: Shayne Eddie and Chris Stokes. They do exquisite designs especially their white on white with little pops of colors, and have beautifully laid out designs. My goal for 2022 is to better capture their creative and artistic styles. This was my second attempt. Don't get me wrong, I like this card; it just doesn't have quite the flair/style they are able to create. But I am determined to get it...or at least closer to it. LOL. Happy New Years All. Here's hoping that 2022 brings each of you much joy, happiness, good health and lots of inky time. Hugs.
I worked on the Featured Stamper yesterday, but didn't finish. I may change my mind on the card. There are a lot of lovely cards in her gallery.

I never seem to have enough time every day, I did work on painting something for the Watercolor challenge but, you'll have to stay tuned for that one. ( er trio) ;)
I am taking a snow day today and going to try to get my room finished more put away. Hubs finished the trim in that window that was replaced last July and it was tough to do the painting I did because, the room was filled with fumes from stain smells on Sunday. today is a little better but the high degrees here will be like 20 if we are lucky so, I do not have the windows open.
So sorry, I started a conversation about crafting, and then I couldn't come back here. The newest saga at our house is that our rescue kitty is fighting for his life and we don't know why. My heart is breaking. December has dealt harshly with us, I hope January plans to treat us nicely!
So let me tell you about the challenges for yesterday and today!
If you love challenges and I know you do or you wouldn't peep in here! We have a challenge for you. It's just once a month but you can play as often as you like. The Fan Club Christmas Challenge is honoring Stacy Morgan this month! She has led the Fan Club Christmas Challenge for a decade! We would love to see you at the Fan Club Christmas Challenge. Winter cards are welcome and so are other December holidays! January 2022 Fan Club Christmas Challenge - Honoring Stacy by ohmypaper! at Splitcoaststampers
