Alrighty, sparked by today's challenges: What is your favorite beverage and do you have a favorite beverage stamp or die? How often do you create an ATC?
My favorite beverage is sparkling water with 100% juice. (My FAVORITE is an ice-cold COKE but since that is so unhealthy I have switched to something a little more acceptable) As for beverage stamp/dies. Honestly, anything new! I really do love beverage stamps and dies. Coffee ones are probably my favorite!
.I don't make ATC's. I think I have only made one once and that was for a Swap, like 9 years ago. I should really create some!

So far so good, the fire is splitting and headed north and east. ( the part that they are letting burn is national forest land) so, its the homes, ranches and farms along the edges of that, that they are digging fire break roads and at last night they had this fire 7% contained. ( it had no containment for over the first week which is really not normal) but, nothing about this has been normal. ( same area had a fire 29/30 years ago, it never got this big/hot it wasn't as dry, etc) the wind has been crazy so some of the embers are flying a mile from the fire so, it just explodes.
this is not to say the people in the path at the moment are out of danger but, its safer for the people where it started at. (smoldering)
I have not even looked at the challenges, I did wrestle with getting the IC staged in a formatting way to be read and finished a sample ( ahead of friday) though , that was about as creative as it got so far this week. I am hoping for some play time over the weekend.
Believe it or not, my favorite beverage is water. In the summer, iced water. I can thank my mom for establishing that habit. I don't really have many beverage stamps/dies but I do have some coffee cups and tea cups.

So, this week we are taking a look at a pinterest board filled with hot air balloons. ( so much art) Someday, I would love to take a ride in one (I think) I am starting to get a height thing as I age. Probably because, I am more aware that I do not bounce like I used to ha ha.
Stacy, I love those hot air balloons! I selected several to stare at for inspiration. Hopefully I will spend time working on a card.
I keep looking for the fan club July monthly theme. I know the gallery has been posted but I haven't found July's post. Am I missing it? Things have been so strange the last few days on this site with the spacing of lines and even typing. Maybe it just disappeared.

Lisa, I am not seeing it either, not sure if I did not scroll back far enough or something or not. but the gallery has its titled listed so, I bet if you peek at the DT entries it would show things of how they saw the theme.
Stacy, I see the theme, Come Fly with Me, and the cards have wings. I was just not finding the thread, so I guess it will appear at a later date.

we were only on standby for one last year but, so far where I live is not on an evacuation notice for the bootleg fire.
I think it was worse last year with all the covid lock downs. One of my Aunts lives in Jurupa Valley near Riverside and they were so stressed out. ( but, OK) my grandparents lived in Placentia for a long time. ( more than half my life) so, it makes me smile when I see that under your smile Debbie. Because, I was born in Fullerton
Stacy, Sorry I'm a bit behind here but I finally read this. I think it's so cool we have that "location" connection. It makes me smile too. It always amazes me a bit to see just how small the world is and how many connections actually exist. Hugs from your Hometown.
In celebration of National Hot Dog Day, the CAS Team is asking us to use our hot dog, grilling, BBQ, and picnic stamps and dies for this week's Challenge.

We had out of town kids home all week last week- plus our 26 month old grandson, so I got ZERO stamping done! Baby slept in my stamp room, so even when I had a bit of downtime, no access to my 'stuff'.

The Wisteria took me two tries. It always takes me two tries! LOL My first try is always absolutely terrible! I really enjoyed the abstract for this week because I just love watching pigment move with water! It's just like magic to me even if it doesn't move exactly how I want it to! I can't wait to see what you create!

If anyone notices we had beverages last week and now we have coffee, it's all my fault! The challenges were in the books and I didn't realize when I told my sample makers we were doing beverages last week. But who doesn't love to make cards with cups? I really love teacups and coffee cups of all kinds.

I just have time to watch one video this morning and I watched the last one. She just blows my mind. I wish I could go to a class because this is so beyond me! I can't imagine how to place stuff randomly and with all sorts of different colors. I hope to watch all of the videos at some point. I think it would enhance my art to try something like this! TFS!

I am going to work on my Christmas Fan Club card as soon as my husband heads to work. The August Challenge will be up at around 10:30 tonight!

Angela, thank you for checking the challenge out. Our goal is that if we can inspire one person to try something different we have achieved something. Some of the videos can be long so fast forward. Yes Dina is amazing. I can't do collage so hope to learn something. Happy weekend.
