Hello everyone. Our church has a relatively new card ministry. I am looking for CAS cards that we can make as a group, perhaps once a month, until supplies are adequate. We need the following categories: sympathy, thinking of you/praying for you, new baby, happy birthday, happy anniversary, etc. Has anyone done this? Do you have advice or perhaps examples? Favorite stamp sets?
Thanks so much!

I've been doing a card ministry in my church for several years now. I keep my designs very CAS so they are both easy to make and easy to mail. Please see the link in my signature for my card ministry blog, and you also might find some easy designs on my Pinterest board: Card Ministry - Mine on Pinterest
She may see it and chime in but if not, you might find Susan Raihala's blog useful - she stamps in a CAS style, often discusses the design aspects of what she makes and is active in her church's card shop. You'll find her blog here: Simplicity or her SCS gallery here
There are also Pinterest boards from the CAS team here and in the gallery you'll find billions. Ardyth and lateblossom (Susan) are awesome. Julie Ebersole too.
A really easy sympathy or thinking of you card can be made by using a nice Floral Silhouette stamp over patterned paper cut in a nice rectangle. Or put it over a technique background if people are into techniques.

Thank you for linking the Simplicity blog. Wonderful CAS cards.
Lots of inspiration. Happy Stampin'!

I have been making and donating cards to my church for maybe 8 years now. They have made over 10,000.00 from my cards. That figure was from 2 years ago when I was interviewed by the local news about my card donations. I dont make all clean and simple but I make a lot. I have just started donating our fav dog rescue to sell the cards for their needs. So far they are going pretty well. Good luck on your card ministry. You rock just for trying.
I took over the card ministry at my church about 2 years ago and I look on Pinterest a lot. I've got a huge amount of examples saved out there. It's a great source.
I also look here in the galleries for examples for the stamp sets I have. Lots of great cards in the SCS galleries. Some are CAS and some are just beautiful to look at.
