Default Brent Steele Flower

Brent demonstrated a card that had a flower done using the big flower stamp from Fabulous Flowers, the scalloped punch and taffeta ribbon, does anyone have a picture of that and the instructions for making it? I didn't personally see him demo it but have heard about it and am so wanting to make one.

Default Brent's ribbon flower card

I found a copy of the card in one of my pictures. It isn't a great shot, but you can at least get the idea of what it was. If you want to pm me your e-mail address I can send it along.

I'd like to see it too! Can anyone post a picture?

I tried to enlarge that card from my photo of the display board:

From my notes punch scallop - punch 3 1/8 inch holes inside and 6 outside. Thread taffeta ribbon, add bead to center.

Here's a picture I took of the card, but it isn't very good. Maybe it will give you an idea anyway!

I zoomed in and cropped my photo and this is what I ended up with. Hope it helps.

In the photo on post #9, what is that in the center of the ribbon (flower)? That is stunning!

I am not sure but I think it is just how the ribbon comes together. I know that someone said that he put something in the center from the pretties but I think that was after it was mounted on the card. I have since done a couple of the flowers after everyone was so much help. A special thanks to Katey (akstamper) for her instructions to go along with all the pics.

This is my first card and it needed a center:

And this is my second and I liked it just fine without anything in the center:

Looks like a bead from the pretties kit. I'm not sure how it is attached though, maybe crystal effects???
