Default Blender Pen

I got a blender pen and nibs for Christmas. I used it with chalks, watercolor crayons and colored pencils. I didn't use it too long and did not rub hard. But the nib is already showing signs of wear. Any suggestions to get the nibs to last longer? Thanks so much!

What brand is it? Is it meant specifically for one thing.. like.. watercolor?

Its a Dove Blender Pen. And I watched tutorials that showed it used with watercolor, pencils, markers and chalk.

Just a thought ... It may be gentler on the nib to scribble color onto a stamp block, etc., rather than to brush the tip against the crayon or pencil tip. But still ... that seems like a wimpy nib to me. Also, if you use more of the "side" of the nib tip, rather than using the tip point as much, that generally does conserve tips.

Thanks for the hint, I will try it. I just think they have never been a strong nib.
