My first thought was pink but I think several of the other colors mentioned above would work as well, particularly turquoise.

Me too! I do like red with black and white (so classic) but when creating I am more likely to use turquoise, royal blue, lime green, bright yellow or hot pink.

Red is what came to mind in terms of completing the phrase, but it wouldn't be what I would use on a card. I would most likely use purple or yellow.
