Default Ask Beate - Adhering die cut letters

Sophs send me a great tip and I thought I post it here:

Quote:

In your latest inkling, you are asked about adhesive for diecut letters. When I am diecutting I adhere Jac paper (or other double sided adhesive) to the paper I am cutting, then when it is cut it is an instant sticker!

Janet sent in a tip as well:

In reply to Beate's question this week, if you apply dst to the back of card used to cut words or other fiddly bits before die-cutting, you can peel off the backing and stick in place easily once cut.
I also tried a sheet of double sided adhesive, but it didn't go through my Grand Calibur as easily as dst did. I applied thre dst in strips that butted up to each other.

Another great suggestion, this one from June:

Quote:

Hi Bea, regarding today's question about adhesive for cut words / letters, I just recently made a bunch of note cards with monogram letter that I cut on my cricut. I used the spray adhesive 3M, it worked great! used a cardboard box to spray the letter and then attached to the card. it was so quick and the paper I used for the letter was rather thin.
