Love this color combo and I guess I use it more than I thought, lol. On some, I did add a little green and on a couple, there was no red but red would have been great.
I'm so glad you posted this, I just got the My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland pack that uses red, aqua, pink, and green. Some great inspiration in these cards!!
My Christmas cards are this color combo, with a little green thrown in too. They are not totally done yet, so I'll try to post one when they are. There was a color challenge sometime this year that used aqua and red, and I fell in love with the combo then. When I saw the dp in the store, I grabbed it up! And I do love how they're looking so far!

I've done one that I really like, but I don't have a camera to post it! I used Riding Hood Red, a beautiful aqua color that I had in my stash, and Very Vanilla -- yummy colors together.
Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and Whisper White is one of my favorite color combos. I tend to use it for birthday cards a lot. I'm definitely going to have to try it on a Christmas card, though.

Close To My Heart came out with a new paper pack this year called "Jingle." When I first saw it I said "ugh" but when I got it home and started working with it I now really like it. The catty doesn't show it well. The "aqua" is not a true "aqua" but it is a light blue green color called Juniper. Here are a couple examples....
