Any Non-Stamp set Retiring Items?
Last year, there were lots of non-stamp set items (i.e., embellishments, ribbon, and other things) that retired. Does anyone know if there are any items from the back pages of the catalog retiring? I thought some of them may have retired last year because of the color changes, but I wasn't sure if that was the only reason.
Thanks for the help!

Yes, embellishments of all sorts may change or be discontinued, including scrapbook albums and supplies. Wheels may also retire. Hope this helps.

Is there a way to get a list of the items retiring from this catalog? I remember that last year there was a separate list of retiring other items.

They do NOT announce wheels, embellishments, supplies, etc. that are going to retire. You also cannot count on "if the set retires, so will the wheel". That is not ALWAYS the case.
Anyone can guess at what is actually retiring but you cannot rely on that.

Bummer! That's kind of crummy. Well - if anyone hears of anything retiring (not stamps) - please post it.
Thanks for your help!

Sometimes, there's an overlap of about a day (if we're lucky) between when demo's get their free copy of the new catty and the current catty retires. So there's a chance there might be some chatter towards the end of July.... No promises, but keep your ears open!

Here is another thread that answers this question in more detail (as to why they don't release retiring info for accessories).

Thanks so much for all the information! I saw a thread from last year and it had the list of retiring accessories - but it was done by someone who had gotten a catalog early and made a list. I'll definitely keep my eyes open for some other wonderful demo to do that!!! (I'll mention it to mine, also.)
Thanks again for all the help!
